The first suspension is less than a day and the 2nd suspension is 1 day something, Even though a person got suspended twice, the time isn’t enough to solve a ban appeal so I think most people just moved on.
Another reason could be that few people are absolutely playing respectfully and the moderators don’t sent players an notification of which games are the reasons of suspension. Nobody can tell if they deserve the suspension.
I can’t speak for other people but I can share my own experience. I have been playing with the same style and the same behaviors all the time, I got suspended twice in a row in the beginning of this year but never got suspended before and after. I did 3 things suspicious and I am still doing them. Sometimes I delete the stuffs I can’t save. I always say something (not insult) to counter the people who threaten with report . I onager kill the people who wall grief my building or resources. This is my reason of thinking some moderators are incompetent.

If team was not qualified for their task there would be multiples mistakes. How often does anyone comes here, on AOZone and reddit to say they were injusticed, submitted an un-ban request and were ignored?

Now, my personal answer to you:
- Game rec will be watched and it’ll be clear that they should ignore the report.

- Im a bit confused on who reported who, would be better to name them Player With Gold and Player Colonialist. It’s tricky without more context. Did they talk to each other? Is it a map you can give the chance of a doubt to the Colonialist, like those which teamates are very close to each other and bad scouting may lead to one taking other’s gold by mistake? If the Colonialist took the gold, but was actually defending Player With Gold from their opponent, they should swap resources (“you take mine, I take yours” situation), it’s better than risking leaving it behind for the invaders to take. I can say “someone took my gold and I killed them”, but it all depends on how was it to decide if its inflicting a code of conduct or not.
Now the second row of questions:
I) They most likely have a gamer-report-history to check, so they can check how often that happens.
II) It’ll depend on where they draw the “dodging” line.
III) A bot probably would give a ban, human-checker will watch the record.
IV) In a team game? It should be in the “how often” category.

You play with random people? In this wall situation, maybe it would be better to tell the rest of your team there’s a troll, you dont see the point in continuing to play that game, resign and report? This situation sucks, I see your frustration.

I once faced Goths Pooplord in 4v4 Arena. My team mates were 850-980 elo, and I was 1.3k player at the moment. My team mates were soft rushing/booming while I castle dropped and made Organ Guns. But my opponents’ base were protected by buildings and multiple stone walls, most of them were staying in feudal age for long time. I just realized they were slinging him. He hit Imperial Age in very quick and made tons of Condottieri to kill me and my other flank.
I asked them “slinging?”, but no one answered. None of us weren’t even close to click up to Imperial Age to compete with the spam at the moment. I was the highest elo on my team, and after I died so fast, it just ended. My whole team was merely overwhelmed by the 178 Condottieri spam.
In the end, one of my teammates asked again “Why Slinging?”, they just laughed and answered “why making army?” while their own ally made like 180 Condottieri. One day I watched that game on his youtube video, they were laughing.
It’s very hard to stop Goths slung strategy among lower elo players in closed maps. Making infantry and gunpowder units do nothing, making cavalry means they’ll make cheap halbs, and making archer can also be annihilated by huskarls while that player will always get resources. Furthermore, low elo players don’t react as good as pros. Once time The Viper with Mayans & Obsidian Arrow slung by Mbl with Saracens bonus made this slinging strat banned in tournaments.

He was using a slinging strat he dubs the Goth Condo strat, in which at least 1-3 Italian teammate(s) slings him resources while he fast imps to spam Condos with the added res using Goth infantry spam potential.
Its not that his strategies are uncounterable. They seem that way because he’s actually a much better player than the elo he’s maintaining. Essentially he’s smurfing by doing meme strategies instead of just resigning to lose elo like other smurfs. Maybe a ban was a bit too harsh but he’s no ordinary ranked player.
Ok, thanks! Now I see why he has been banned. Can’t you counter it with onagers?
The map is fortress and 3 people slinging him plus a castle for age up building means he hits imo way faster than any player can reach onager.
It is not about his strategies. It is about his toxic behaviour combined with noob bashing.

Tbh slinging is not the biggest issue in aoe2 ranked. It is his behaviour and attitudes that deserve the ban, also his personal elo is 1700+, and he is playing against these plebs, 800 - 1300 elo, and trash talks against people 1k elo lower than him
