Longbow feel a little oppressive in age3 now, once you send the siege card.
Did they fix the skies in the editor too or just in the photo mode??
The new voices are really good I have to say, though the villager voices are still tiny
Archers have double the fire rate so you have to double their attack to make a proper comparison.

Not really, longbows have an extremely long setup animation, which kinda make their rate of fire similar to that of skirms⊠Such setup time also mean they cannot kite like skirms, or other faster shooting archers like yumi or even fulani iirc
What a great update! I am very happy with this little English rework and I hope that other Europeans will also receive them.
The new skin for the ranger is very accurate, I would like to ask the devs if they could also improve the skin of the veteran musketeer, giving him a tricorn instead of the current feathered hat.(Note: I know there are mods for this, but it would be nice to have this already in the game)
When acquiring targets yes there is a delay but after that their fire rate is double.
yeah longbows only get stronger as the game goes on since they fire at targets with higher hp and waste less time reacquiring targets.
they can even counter artillery well.

Previous DE haud/lakota voice lines really feel like placeholders, as well as the âimperialâ skirmisher/halberdier skins (which had little difference). Hope they gradually polish them.
I wasnt expecting a new model for the Rangers at all! Figured they would just use the skirm model, thatâs really neat.
Wondering what else they have in store in the future for the Europeans. Organ Guns and War Wagons are similar archaic units that could do with a replacement in later ages I think?
Perhaps trainable musketeer for Dutch and Germans? Trainable Nizam for the Ottomans?

2 TPs= 144%, base would be 140%
3 TPs= 172%, base would be 160%
This is easily one of the most powerful cards in the game for a very popular playstyle (FF) to an already very powerful civ (British). I canât possibly be reading it right.
This is too generous to the player whoâs already holding the trading route. FF should be discouraged and not boosted even further to every civ.
The british as always the most pampered, when many other civs deserve the âreworkâ first.
Even so, it fills me with hope, the old european civs will receive their âreworkâ.

Quite honestly, british gameplay was very limited. It is clear that the devs want to make british more engaging in the early and mid game. The longbowman is now a fully fledged harassment unit in age3 once you send the siege card.
Agreed, it should scale with base stats, not current stats.

But they have superior speed and more resistance to projectiles. They can also do the âhit and runâ technique.
If we match the cadence of the ranger with the archer (from 3S to 1.5S) proportionally, if we adjust the damage in that time (1.50S). It would be a hypothetical damage of (reducing from 40 damage to 20 due to having reduced cadence) 20 X 1.625= 32.5 against heavy infantry, while the archer would do a damage of 34 X 1.25=42.5. There is a 10 difference, but the rangerâs speed and tolerance is greater.
