Problem with sound mod creation

There’s a mod called “never housed” that apparently changes the sound of the new “remaining population alert” to a different sound, I installed it but the sound was super low, I decided to make my own version of the mod, I have done audio mods before with no problem, I did everything correct (I believe) but I hear no sound at ALL before getting housed… I already have remaining population alert checkbox activated, but apparently is not working, what could it be?
EDIT: I tried it in another account and it worked… there’s nothing in the settings that is different, why am I having trouble with this? any idea?

Ive tried three different housed reminder mods and nothing either. If you figure out why, kindly reply here to help everyone else out.

Ironically I got one of them to work called “HousedIsrael”. It plays some random yiddish or something but it works. I also put it to the top of the priority loading list, so maybe that may help.

Step 1. MAKE SURE YOU TURN ON THE “Remaining Population Alert” OPTION UNDER THE “Game” TAB. :rofl:

Yeah, now the Alert works.
Just make your .wem file replacement and make sure to rename it to “aoe_population_capped” in the Never Housed mod folder.
(Rename the original file “OGaoe_population _capped”.wem so you have the original should you want to change it back)
