No, it has to be properly published online as an actual mod before you can do that, which is why I’m saying you need to get your thing working for SP first.

Ok. It works for single player, both Skirmish and the Scenario Editor. Didn’t have to click anything yet though. All I had to do was create the path you described in the other post and put the DAT file there.
About the multiplayer: All I have to do is publish the mod?
If it’s working without you doing anything, that’s probably because you have also overwritten the base game. Go AoE2 on steam, and click the “Properties” button.
Then go to local files, and click “Verify Integrity of Game files”
That should fix the game.
Ok. I have a back up file anyway. What about the multiplayer?
You need to publish your mod for that.
