DLC with new civs and campaigns. Just like Lords of the West.
Opening a can of worms is an English language specific phrase(I think it is only English may be wrong) that means ‘to create a large number of unnecessary problems’
Something like in Polish: na *** ać or na * rać xDDD
Sorry for the vulgarity
But seriously, it sounds like this: Otworzyć puszkę Pandory (Open a Pandora’s Box).
Bohemians is a proper term for that time. Not Czechs. And campaign about Jan Hus… Well, what would be the missions there?
I saw an interesting fan-made campaign about Ottokar II. So the new DLC campaign could be about him or about wars of Luxemburgs (John the Blind in Prussia, John the Blind and Crecy, Charles in Italy) or Hussite wars (Vítkov, Beatiful rides, Lipany)
China and its related areas need a proper expansion - Jurchens and Tibetans and Thais.
Jan Hus is a leader of Hussites
And we already have the DLC on Asia
No, Hussites are called after him, after he was burned in 1415. Leaders of Hussites were Zizka or Holy.
Sorry for this mistake. Jan Hus is protoplast Hussites.
Jan Žižka - It would be a wonderful campaign.
- DLC Lords of the West + 2 civs
- DLC (American) + 4 civs
- DLC (Slavs) + 3 civs
- DLC (Asian) + 4 civs
- DLC (Middle East) + 2 civs
Season Pass = 15 new civs
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition + Season Pass = !!!50 civilizations!!!
Nice simulation. Let me write my own:
- DLC Lords of the West + 2 civs: Burgundians, Sicilians
- DLC (India) + 2 civs: Bengals, Tamils
- DLC (East Asia) + 3 civs: Jurchen, Thais, Tanguts (Tibetans (wink wink))
- DLC (Africa) + 3 civs: Kanembus, Somalians, Swahilis
- DLC (Slavs) + 3 civs: Bohemians, Poles, Serbs
- DLC (Name?) + 2 civs: Georgians, Mississipians
Not enough America for my taste but the rest seems fine.
- DLC Lords of the West + 2 civs: Burgundians, Sicilians
- DLC (India) + 2 civs: Bengals, Tamils
- DLC (East Asia) + 3 civs: Jurchen, Thais, Tanguts (Tibetans (wink wink))
- DLC (Africa) + 3 civs: Kanembus, Somalians, Swahilis
- DLC (America) + 3 civs: Mississippians, Iroquois, Chimor
- DLC (Eastern Europe) +2 civs: Bohemians, Poles
My own list:
- DLC Lords of the Cross: Romanians + Georgians
- DLC Lords of Eastern Europe: Wends + Serbocroats
- DLC Lords of the Far East: Jurchen + Thai
- DLC Lords of the Mountains: Ghorids + Tibetans
- DLC Lords of Africa: Kanem + Bantu (Congo/Swahili)
- DLC Lords of India: Dravidians + Bengalis
- DLC Lords of the Americas: Mapuche + Iroquois.
Since everybody is posting DLCs, this is what I want:
-Celestian Kingdoms: Khitans, Tibetans and a Chinese Campaign
-Lords of Silk and Spice: Swahili, Tamils and a Korean campaign
-Tides of War: Tongans, Samoans and a Japanese Campaign
-Chiefs and Emperors: Iroquois, Mississipians and Tarascans
-Edge of the New Age: Kongolese, Swiss and Bohemians
What would be the Samoan Unique Unit and Campaign?
Campaign could be Nafanua the Warrior Queen avanging her uncle, and the UU could be a Axe-Clubman of sorts.
- African DLC - Kanembu, Swahili, Somalis
- Indian DLC - Tamils, Bengalis
- American DLC - Mississippians, Iroquois
- Christianity DLC - Nubians, Georgians
- Forgotten DLC - Kongolese, Siamese, Oriyas/Kannadas
- Asian DLC - Tibetans, Jurchen
Bohemians and Polish would complete mongol campaign civilizations.
Afghan Bengals Cholas would also make indian and east asian scenarios better.
If going for civilizations not represented in scenarios there are plenty of options.
I want to like the idea 1000000x
You are genius!
Instead of listing single Slavic nations, you can make two new ones - universal civs.
- Wends - Western Slavs
- Serbo-Croatians - South Slavs
- Slavs now present in the game - changed to Ruthenian (or Rus)
This is the fairest and best solution. For example, in the campaign, Poles or Czechs will simply be the civilization of Wends, etc.
Then you can add to these two civs:
- Georgians
- Armenians (possible)
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Boyars of the East
