idk , either way im an actual modder wich made real mods (campaigns scenarios and stuff like that) so i know what im talking about, while the content editor is good it needs a lot of improvements.

nah, the HRE has no imperial knight now, only the templar.

thats what I said increasing cost of an unit as an ā€œupgradeā€ its uncanny for most player if you re going to mix those units in 1. Thats why eother they need to be an separated units to have a reason to have strong stats or you have boil down the cool abilities because a basic generic unit cant be op earlier. adding abilities as tech? no we are not wc3 or sc2 because aoe in general is more focused on macro. Also, non heroes units has to be enough simple to be easy to use. Even that rule is applied to heroes one like aoe 3 ones which has only 2 actives at best. This is why aoe 4 civ design needs remake because cool uu gets stucked because the aoe 2 ish layout and the lack of limititation like build limit that can be built which in older you can do without problems.

I donā€™t know how this thread start as some HRE player complaining about not getting significant buff to arguing about what unique unit should HRE have

nah, historically Mongols were always outnumbered when they faced their enemies.
that means, giving the Mongols weak Keshigs (heavy cavalry) aint accurate at all.
I really hate this approach and will not play Mongols and the game until they change its stats.

Like how all other civs got all nice stuffs and HRE donā€™t (they have the best landmarks, the best MAA spam, and Culverin) and how feudal raid of moat cic got buffed so HRE canā€™t go naked castle anymore, and how Chinese late game buffed too much so at 20 minutes mark, it is much more steonger than HRE when they got swabia at 11 minutes mark, and how grenadier is now soo good vs armors they must go mango and HC when they want to just spam MAA all day, and how NoB got buffed too much they need to make culverin. Someone can add.

Isnā€™t it also that HRE can make up for a lot of this with specialised upgrades and relic use with emplacements?
But yeah, difficulties past Castle especially against Chinese.

That work too, especially when combined with HREā€™s comically fast age up time, it can be frustating sometime when we play slow paced civ like abbasid, or even sometime china. We need to address that too before giving HRE any buff.well we canā€™t deny that they will struggle more in feudal against Delhi, mongols, and ottomans, and in imperial or post-imp against comically strong late game chinese. Even French late game and mongols late game got buffed. Here what i can see:

-slightly slow down HRE economic pace in feudal, and eaely castle.
-buff the meinwerk so it enable really aggresive playstyle, or enable really strong defense mechanism (kremlin change is proved reaaallly good at doing that)
-slightly buff their late game (maybe with changing their holy inspiration mechanism, as it is right now has potential to become as powerful as moving network of citadel, but too slow and too easy to counter, maybe buff the prelateā€™s HP, make the inspiration an aura or buff many units at the same time, but slightly reduce the inspiration bonus IDK)

Letā€™s do one thing, when you accuse or quote someoneā€™s comment, show the relevant evidence. The other option is to ask for forgiveness or I will take action.

Well about chinese late game stuff here it is.

mid tread below. basically some said that mods are bad becuz the unnecessary complexity vs the ones who said need to be as it is

Is this the latest update of the PUP? the final changes?
If so, they look really good to me.
1.Ghulam charge attack makes it more viable
2. additional barrels is probably good enough with one additional rocket. Although iā€™m not sure it will be worth the money
3. Palace guards extra gold sounds good so itā€™s less spamable in the late game.
4. ghazi raider train nerf is good but might still be a jack of all trades. Probably still not viable to go elephants :frowning:
5. THE BIGGEST CHANGE IN MY OPINION. The sanctity and tower of victory nerf makes it that Delhi might have to think about a different strategy than feudal all in.

Maybe try reading it again more carefully. At no point in that thread does anyone EVER say that the mod tools are perfect and donā€™t need updates.

You are either lacking comprehension or are intentionally misrepresenting what was said. Iā€™m making no assumption as to which it is.
