RoR's chariot archer doesn't shoot any arrows

Chariot archer unit from Return of Rome performs its attack animation but no arrows get thrown (and no damage is inflicted towards objectives, either), making the unit useless other than for exploring the map.

Yes, I did. Based on my experience, the issue occurs intermittently—even during an active match. It seems the chariot sometimes fails to complete its attack animation, possibly due to a problem occurring just before the arrow is released. Here’s the savegame where the issue can be observed, using a custom scenario of mine:

I noticed in that savegame (created using build 155976) that the chariots initially failed to shoot arrows at an enemy scout standing right in front of them. However, they eventually managed to fire at their opponent.

I am not sure whether the version affected was 160062 or 158041, but I’ve seen the “no-attack with failed animation” bug in other archer unit as well. I think it was the improved bowman one, if not, just the basic bowman, from RoR. If I happen to have a save game and/or footage, I may share it here.
