The Crown icons are distinguishing enough for UTs…
地编里应该把隐藏的音乐厅,尼斯湖水怪,有大商站功能的贸易工坊拿来使用,但目前最关键的问题是修复去年8月13日更新后无法制作使用模组和各种无端报错的严重问题
You should post this in the bug section.
我连差评都给过了一直没解决,问题真的很严重了
Ditches, for fortification / water-dispatching.
Sand Dunes like on RoR version too.
more wodden bridges, with color variations.
Some medieval entertainment assets, like this famous thing where kids circled arround a pole holding ribbons.
Wome water flakes, would be damn cool, also with rain tiles, and wind blowing objects.
Ducks, pheasants, more types of deer, lynxes and European bison.
Black, brown, silver (light gray in between Gaia white and the current gray), dark green, teal, and other player colors for more variety in custom scenarios. I want Abbasids and Targaryens to actually wear black.
Some terrains with damage modification, like “digs” to get a cover, I mean the exact opposite of what Altitude does. Currently if you design some trenches, the guys inside will take more damaage, the idea would be to be able to revert that by painting some tiles with terrain that makes them taking less damage, not neccesarly boosting the damage they do (it’s more the opposite of the cliff indeed)
Some terrain that slows down / speed up, such as deep muds or roads etc.
More water terrain, with terrain restriction mechanics, to be able to have river / high sea terrain restriction without datamod !
Some water big waves for costal-cliffs / storms.
Tornadoes / thumbleweed.
Cats ! Why don’t we have cats already !
Crow / Raven, alonside with Scarcrow of course.
Corn farms, potatoe farms, tomato farms, cacao beans farms, tabaco farms (yeah they are all tied to south america discovery, but we got civs related to that ingame !)
Hops farm, Beer making building, tavern, Inn.
Some bleachers to do some knight jousting ! Or Harry potter Quidditch…
Pillory !
Sharks, orca (killer whale), Kraken (wait wat).
Water Maelstrom !
More damaged building assets, for all civs, all ages, and ruins, love ruins !
Castle Water-Bridge ? Would be pretty cool for custom designs.
north-american Tipis ! More tents variants, square european medieval pavillon/tents.
Springald towers ? (building)
Breaching Tower “Belfry”, mixing the siege tower discharging behind wall and ram attacking mechanics.
Mantelets to protect unitts from incoming missiles (absorbing arrows as rams are doing)
Menhirs, Dolmens.
More shipwrecks assets.
More small walls / fences for countryside designing.
Snow pile, leaf pile, wood branch pile.
Just realized I want coffins, standing skeletal remains with armor (like in The Odyssey), lootable corpse (10 gold) and catapults that do poison damage (dead bodies). This is very morbid lol.
Now that a new AoE3DE expansion is on the way (which includes a Teutonic Knight unit using AoE2 voice lines), it would be cool if AoE2DE took part in the celebration of the comeback by adding the Musketeer of a past event as an editor and cheat unit, and possibly some other AoE3 tidbits.
Though the Musketeer should use a melee attack when next to the enemy, like in AoE3, so that the bayonet is not left unused.
All the event skins which are historical or real should be added to the editor.
They would also fit as a regional upgrade for the hand cannoneer. It would make historically late scenarios more accurate (like in the last chieftains)
I hope these guys get added with the Viking DLC.
A rabbi as monk skin would also be nice to have.
Since we’re getting a Viking DLC, why not Shieldmaidens as an editor unit? We have Amazon warriors, Shieldmaidens are at least a bit more historically grounded and would be useful for custom scenarios.
There are historical attestations that Viking Age women took part in warfare. The Byzantine historian John Skylitzes records that women fought in battle when Sviatoslav I of Kiev attacked the Byzantines in Bulgaria in 971.[16] When the Varangians (not to be confused with the Byzantine Varangian Guard) had suffered a defeat in the Siege of Dorostolon, the victors were stunned to discover armed women among the fallen warriors.[16]
Some mushroom spots, think of them like berries but with faster gather rate and lower total food count.
In the beta of the upcoming AoE3DE DLC, there is an unfinished Goose unit, as pointed out by M00Z1LLA. It looks a lot like the Goose model of AoE2DE. The death animation (flapping wings and toppling) is also pretty much the same.
Makes me wonder how much effort it takes to port models of one engine to the other. There are various (human) units in AoE3DE that don’t appear to be “too advanced” for AoE2 and would fit into the Scenario Editor, including multiple ones of the TBP DLC.
AOE3 is adding a new capturable building called “Timber Importer” which passively generates Wood. They added a similar one called “Windmill” in the last DLC which generates Food instead.
The Timber Importer is more relevant though because it allows them to cover parts of the worlds that just simply don’t have trees. In AoE2 we need to fill Greenland with trees to make the game playable, which feel very wrong.
Capturable buildings that generate 1 resource would be a very valuable tool for map makers, both scenarios and random maps. Currently we only have the Battle Royale Trade Workshop (which is not even directly available in the Scenario Editor) which generates all resources.
Just add driftwood in water tiles and along the shores. That’s where Inuits and many others got their timber from.
But it would look very silly to get entire forests worth of wood that way.
I generally want resource generating buildings that can be captured. This allows for a variety of interesting gameplay options. Like making scenarios without villagers.
Yeah you can get the same effect with triggers but that is annoying and convoluted. Having dedicated buildings for it makes it more convenient and also easier to understand for players.
I’m not against drift wood or ship wracks though. I suggested them myself before.
