Scenario mods completely nonfunctional

ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Subscribing to a Scenario mod has essentially no effect. Upon download of a Scenario through the mod system, the Scenario cannot be selected/loaded from anywhere in the game.

Currently only workaround to be able to play new Scenarios is to manually put the Scenario file into the Scenario folder (outside of the mods folder), where it will be recognized by the game.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

• 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

1.Go Tools → Mods → Browse Mods
2. Subscribe to a Scenario mod, such as “Coop Scenario - British Arabia”
3. Return to the main menu
4. Go Load → Custom Scenario
5. Witness that the newly downloaded Scenario is nowhere to be found

EXPECTED RESULT

Being able to use Scenarios downloaded through the mod system.

This is a call for help to developers. I’m a big fan of scenario editors in Age of Empires. And especially that of age of empires 3. Since the release of the game in 2005 I have spent more hours in it than in skirmish or multiplayer. A possible solution: create a “mod scenario” folder in the game files. And add a “access mod scenarios” button in the window to find the scenario files (in skirmish or multiplayer).
