It would be nice if they added something like Home City known from AoE 3 to AoE 4 - as a cosmetic of the menu screen, of course. Cosmetics for Home City would be unlockable upon reaching a higher level and during Events.
Some are taking things for granted without knowing what the metagame will be like.
There are many players and spectators who have seen that the boomer metagame of 2nd TC with half of civilizations was more than obvious (Rus in many games, France, Abbasids, English sometimes, HRE sometimes and China).
I understand that the way of nerfing is debatable, but I think it had to be nerfed. It was necessary to favor a little more dynamism and spectacularity.

At higher levels, HRE very rarely and English virtually never (excluding landmark which this change doesn’t affect) go 2 TC. Now they will never go it. This patch just makes 80% of the civs always 1 TC civs pretty much.
