So AoE Definitive Edition won't work on Windows 7?

Every single other game I want to play on PC is Windows 8 compatible. But not this one. So that’s one game copy MS is never going to sell. By the time I have to upgrade, I doubt this game will be on the top of my list. Nostalgia is not worth paying $20 plus over $100 for a copy of Windows 10. Not all of us are the type of gamers who can drop hundreds of dollars on our systems every time a new game comes out. Stupid, stupid decision by MS.

just pirate your windows bro

Don’t worry be happy. There are better games.

Thanks, but neither suggestion is terribly useful.

I’m just sharing my opinion. MS decision on how to release this game resulted in me deciding not to purchase something that I would otherwise like to own. I’m definitely not the only person. If MS doesn’t care, then that’s their problem. I shared my opinion and will now go play - as you say - other better games. This game will just continue to have a sub-optimal market share. Once upon a time, companies used to care about such things…

Where is your all mighty god… I mean platform.

Check this is AoE2 on steam. What happened, is not so perfect platform.

Yeah companies, corporations, money. But the CEOs don’t read these forums.
