Sorry for the stupid question: i’m playing a skirmish with russian (Imperial Age) but i didn’t understand how to unlock the new models. Could you help me?
Hello, friends, you need to switch the game to the preview version in steam to see these new contents. Or wait a week or two, the official version will also update these.

So, new models are not available for gamepass version? I play and buy all DLC from gamepass. So, could you confirm me that this versione have not be updates yet? Thank you.
I own the client of the steam version of the game and am also a gamepass user.
As far as I know, the Xbox client of Age of Empires 3 cannot use the preview version, you can only wait for the official update.

Correct the PUP is only available through the steam version of the game. Gamepass will have to wait until the patch goes live to get to see and use all the new models and stuff.

Now. Can we get imperial age graphics for older units too? 
So far only units added in DE like the US Regular and Swedish Carolean get them.

The devs are now only adding a unique industrial age look to the RG units, I guess the devs are also waiting to see if the player feedback is positive. Among many Age2 players, it seems that changes to the old unit image are always unpopular. Until today, in AGE2, it is unimaginable to even distinguish the image of units by region.
However, at present, players of Age of Empires 3 seem to be more willing to accept changes and new things, especially adjustments that can provide more authentic historical details.

AOE2 HD had mods that made all units regional, it’s just harder for DE with its higher fidelity sprites. So IDK how many AoE2 players actually want regional appearances, but enough did to make mods for it in HD.

What I’d really love would be for Imperial upgrades in the Dock to change (aesthetically of course):
Imperial Man-O-War upgrade to Frigate changed to Armoured Frigate and giving a steam-powered Ironclad Frigate in appearance to show-off your Victorian technological prowess!

Oh yes! After giving the Royal Guards a unique look, I would love to see a similar addition of a unique skin for naval units:
Armoured Frigate (before upgrade: Frigate)
Iron Monitor (before upgrade: Monitor)
Cruiser (before upgrade: Galleon)
Gunboat (before upgrade: Caravel)

I can just say both Gwentmaster and the Devs are amazing. Because a modder could capture the style of the game so hard it looks like its already part of the game.
Who knows…Maybe the devs themselves drew inspiration from the passion of Gwentmaster.Its not far fetched if you think about it. <3

Unique skins for all duplicated european units were a dream for all of us (well, the majority of us). @ GwentMaster2163 accomplished that dream for all of us. He inspired me to mod, and I’m pretty sure he inspired devs to make this new patch, with all the new graphics that presents, and without a promise of selling it.
