As minimizing idle TC time is crucial, an additional icon Idle TC in the UI next to Idle villager would be great! (especially for beginners)
The icon could also be greyed out if vills make up a certain share of total population (could be adjusted in game options and/or set to a default of e.g. 50%).
I don’t know if an additional shortcut is necessary as there already is Go to TC and Select all TCs.
