Abus: add multiplier of 0,7 against light infantry.
this makes them trade as expected for a light infantry unit vs skirms while still being stronger vs high rr units like Jäger
a nerf against cree and cherokee riflemen so since this is otto they’ll need a multiplier against those units
why is this such a reasonable and well thought out set of changes? If this was the patch notes I might actually cry with happiness just a little bit.
I’d increase the sipahi card to 1500. That would be 300 resources for 1 unit, that’s still very cheap for how strong sipahi are, it is food after all.
I would just remake inca as a rod-lancer spain like civ. Chimu to a rod like HI unit. Maceman as infantry lancers and more speedy than now. JBs can continue to be weak archers, maybe make them more like xbows. Bolas can continue to be a weird carolean aoe musk. Huaracas should be turned into grenadier like units which fill the role of falcs. Make inca units 10% faster around defensive buildings a civ bonus and remove military garrison.
I don’t think the Consulate Wagon or Village cost is the issue. The problem is immediately getting a Blockhouse from the Consulate that does everything so you can skip right past building a War Academy and save a ton of wood.
I’d say the fix should be the following:
- Chinese Blockhouse can only train Castle armies (so age 2 only has Flamethrowers and a Keshig/Steppe army)
- Increase War Academy cost by 5-10% (adds a little extra wood expense to your builds without making Villages too costly to make prior to sending the migration cards)
Add “Fix poison damage application for Jungle Bowmen”
It’s a bug, but it’s one that’s altering the balance of things. It should be factored in when buffing things as JBs aren’t preforming as intended. Less might be necessary for Inca.
GLAD TO SEE FINALLY AN UPDATE !
Those are just my update wishes lol so don’t get too excited. Or maybe you were saying that in jest
It will hurt them by 200 more food than usual. In conjunction with the other nerfs I suggested the I feel that only 200f a increase is reasonable. Can be adjusted later if need be of course - I like taking baby steps.
