como es posible que los guerrilleros que se suponen son su counter no le hagan nada de daño?! y son tan baratos y spameables que son imposible matarlos joder! tenia un monton de casadores portugueses con 2 tarjetas de mejora de la metropoli (1 de daño y otra de daño y vida) y encima en nivel vigia y me mataba a mis cassadores super rapido, su velocidad de movimiento y ataque es demasiado roto y encima resiste a distancia ni el aguante del 45% de los cassadores les ayudo una mierda, espero vuelvan a dejar a los cazadores a como eran en el vainilla.

They are strong but skirms do double damage to them, it will take a skirm about 7 hits to kill a ERK and they kill skirms in 5 IIRC, it will vary depending on cards and techs. The ERK is quite a bit more expensive than a skirm so should kill them faster.

You are a bit out of luck as ports because organ guns have a 0.5 multi vs shock infantry, falconets do quite well vs ERK.

Personally I’d have made halbs and used them to protect the skirms and just kite back forever with the skirms because ERK have a low range and their speed and range resist won’t be of much use if they run into some halbs.

Cheap? they are 150 resources each for a 1 pop unit, that nearly double the cost of dragoons per pop.

tio no me entendiste? literlamente le mande cazadores a matarlos y las jodidas unidades mias apenas y les hacian daño y el hit and run no me servia de mucho por que sus unidades eran más rapidas que las mias

Sin mencionar que los guerreros aguila tienen más rango que un dragon y disparan más rapido haciendo incluso más daño que un dragon.

yeah you expect them to have to perform better given how much they cost

the way to counter them is to be cost effective and keep trading rather then try to win a fight outright

It seems you don’t understand me lol I’m saying hit and run with skirms because you out range them yeah but also keep a group of halbs between you and the skirms then they can’t use their speed to catch up to your skirms without running into the halbs and getting snared.

then you will have to change your strategy. atleast from what I can tell you only had 2 upgrade cards so this was age 3 and the opponent already managed to successfully push you to your base and corner you, which will be a very difficult situation to get out of.

The plan would then to be to be more aggressive early, get map control and have cav/dragoon on the prowl for raids and the arrow knights to force them to defend with the eagles and allow you to take better fights with the cassadors

in the fight itself what the other commenter said also helps, keep your distance and have halbs to pressure them back

y querias que gastara oro a lo loco solo por unos cuantos alabarderos que moririan en un santiamen? colega cada uno de esos vale 70 de oro y 50 de comida

estaba en cuarta y el en 3ra, escribi que mis cassadores eran vigias y tenian la carta de mejora de cuarta de vida y daño y la de segunda de daño

sorry for misunderstanding (the translation said you only had 2 upgrade cards) that would also mean that you are missing one, which pretty important since cassadors have high range armour so HP upgrades benefit them greatly

its fine if they die, their job is to make the eagles have another target or have to move back so the cassadors can keep their distance

You don’t just let them die, you pull them forward as your skirms move back and ERK’s aren’t skirmishers they don’t counter halbs. ERK’s only have 12 range too you can be shooting with your skirms and just keep the halbs walking back with them to maintain space between the units. Port in age 3 has the eco to support these units too, aztec eco isn’t anything special and it takes them a while to get a really good mass of ERK. You can also upgrade your skirms with advanced arsenal and your halbs, aztec can’t.

puede tener sentido pero cuando ya no tienes oro de sobra no sirve de mucho y encima sus caballeros flecha hostigaban muy a lo lejos, no eran tantos unos 10 o 15 de eso pero los otros eran tantos que era dificil matarlos

If you are in age 4 and have no gold to spare then im sorry to say that the game has gone wrong way before that, considering that they also managed to mass 10 arrow knights as well which is not cheap. considering that cassadors cost only cost 35 gold and you can get factories in age 4 + all the tcs that should have been making vils, you should have enough eco by that point.

I think as a note for next time you should try to gain the advantage by being on the map and raiding the opponent to slow them down so you can make your eco better as well.

To drill down further, were you maxed out on vils, had economic upgrade cards, eco techs for mills and estates?

je tratando de justificar siempre lo roto a ver, tenia 70 aldeanos 1 fabrica (ya que envie una mejora militar antes de la otra debido a que estaba bajo ataque y necesitaba potencia de fuego) y 4 centros urbanos produciendo aldeanos y sabes que? me gaste el oro en mejoras para mis unidades! y economia, y sabes que? esto no ira a ningun lado voy a esperar a que leas esto y borrare este post

If you’ve got 70 villagers then sell whatever excess res your stacking and build some plantations or if there’s still mines get them mining. Switch your factory to coin etc. With that many villagers you could easily afford more units. Do you have the replay of this game?

antes guardaba replays pero ahora no debido a que no se que le paso a mi juego pero siempre que me meto a ver una grabación nueva, no de hace un par de meses no me funciona dice error de sincronización y se va al carajo, y si tenia como 20 aldeanos en oro y me habia quedado sin minas de mi lado asi que hice unas 2 o 3 plantaciones pero tenia que mejorar la recolección

Without the rec it’s hard for us to know what went wrong, perhaps just unfortunate timing with mines running out and being attacked at the same time and being unable to train more units. ERK’s are not unbeatable though and aztec don’t really have a good enough eco to support them for long.

I play malta mostly so fire throwers pretty much just kill everything aztec has.

es que esas unidades son buenas yo igual juego malta y lo se estoy mas acostumbrado con malta e italia (y un poquito españa) pero queria jugar con portugal por que en el original la jugaba bastante, pero joder en el DE al menos en mapas de tierra apesta
