The Last Chieftain - My predictions and guesses

Ah, you’re right…

So it would be the trade workshop?…

Yes, that makes sense…

Yes, the architecture looks incredible, but some buildings feel strange…

But they’re Muisca, it would have to resemble a Muisca temple…

Anyway, since the campaign is like that, it could be a bit of everything… I mean, if you have a castle, it’s the Castle Age and you have to defend the marvel even without being in Imperial… I’m looking on Wikipedia to see if Lautaro had to defend any important building in any battle, but I haven’t found anything yet… It could be the Battle of Tucapel in 1553 where Lautaro defeats Pedro de Valdivia, Marihueñu in 1554 where Lautaro defeats Francisco de Villagra, or Mataquito in 1557 on a wooded hill where Villagra kills Lautaro…

Sure, maybe…

Nah, that wouldn’t make sense, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to create their UU and I haven’t seen any stables anywhere… besides, we already saw in another photo that they can build castles, so at least they can reach Castle Age…

Worst ever idea if ever implemented.

Yes, in fact, in AoE4 the Mongols were originally only reach to Castle Age, but they scrapped the idea because otherwise the civilization would have been too weak…

The monastery shared between most of these civs has Shinto elements, even though Shinto is an exclusively Japanese religion

The devs added more monastery models, so I don’t understand why they didn’t add a non-Japanese temple or a non-Orthodox model for non-Orthodox civs in the East Euro set.

What about a UT based on coca culture for Muiscas? :’)

Not sure this is the proof you want to use tbh, the current E. Asian architecture has been a sore spot for awhile as it is pretty Japan-centric, and a lot of people including myself want a new Sinitic architecture set.

Hopefully them planning a new Sinitic architecture is why they didn’t make a new monastery for them.

I want more architecture sets as well, including a more sinitic one. I even pointed that out in the message you quoted. I’m just saying it not fitting Muiscas doesn’t mean they won’t get it.

Oh, sorry, I must’ve missed that part of the conversation. My bad.

You’re ok.
I really hope we get more.

So who is getting the cheaper Settlement as their civ bonus? I think it will be Muisca as civ description talks about their eco. Here is my predictions on new regional bonuses:

you write “fires faster” for the champi warrior. i was under the impression it’s a melee unit?

Yeah, I also think it is a melee unit. How fire faster is giving you different impression?

oh, i would have written “attacks faster”, I just thought that you might have found some new information

If it already exists in III, why didn’t they just call the settlement Tambo or Kancha? Bolas Rider & Blackwood Archer are the same units as the Mapuche & Tupi minor civ trading post units in III too…

almost feels like this would fare better as an aoe3 DLC

Ahh. I understand. The stat is called “Rate of Fire”. So I always say " Fire faster". Although “Attack faster” sounds more appropriate.

Man I hope they dont blow it with this DLC

Perhaps it’s because Tambo and Kancha are Quechua words; also, let’s remember that AoM also has “settlements,” but they’re more for limiting the construction of Town Centers across the map…

x2…I feel that they originally intended to include this South American DLC in the third game after the Baltic DLC (since Europe would be complete in that game), but since they canceled the Baltic DLC and put the third game on maintenance last year, they took the concept of this South American DLC and turned it into a DLC for the second game so as not to waste the information gathered from these civilizations…

The devs really just do not care about East Asia at all.

Seriously, a Shinto temple for all the East Asian civs? And to make matters even sillier, the Japanese don’t even have a Shinto priest model.

If you really want to be pedantic (and sometimes I do), “fire faster” only makes sense for gunpowder weapons, not for other ranged weapons like bows (which shoot rather than fire).
