Remove them from the War Academy and then in exchange make them a more generalist core unit.

While the Delhi sultanate did destroy many universities and libraries, they were also the recipient of many Muslim traders, artists, intelligencia, artisans etc fleeing the mongols, so the region did have notable cultural and scholarly devolpment as well.
In regards to architecture, the most famous (globally) Indian architecture is largely from Muslim and British rule (or more modern Indian architecture). What is most beautiful/wonderous is subjective though.
There are a number of UNESCO World Heritage sites that are of muslim origin in India, including Taj Mahal, Red fort, Shalamar Gardens (I know Pakistan) and more.
I think It would be best to say they were religiously intolerant, more than anti-scholar. Not uncommon in the middle ages.

And yes, elephants are indeed wonderful. They are glorious and intelligent creatures. I like that the most appreciated feature of the Delhi Sultanate in this game, the elephants, is something they learned from the Hindus and Buddhist armies. You see, Indians have always cherished all animals, not just goats. I donât like that these noble creatures were forced into battle historically, but for the sake of gameplay, yes the elephants are awesome.

Also, thereâs no âTimuridâ architecture. Samarkand, Bukhara architecture is simply 100% Isfahan-Shiraz style. 100% Persian, no more, no less.
