I say this because the opinion of AOE-2 players will determine the development of future titles (if there are any).

I think we might get closed off or out, like your reply to me here that I randomly came across. I stated my case for things I wanted in AoM:R and was greeted by a one line shut down

I’ve tried to talk about dislikes of AoE3 in AoE3 threads and get booted by the AoE3 community for daring to criticize the game in the AoE3 threads, so I’ve obliged. I have no intention to change the game they know and love. I don’t personally see why we should have to talk about AoE3 in AoE2 area, but I think that’s what the AoE3 community wants since that area is off-limits for such things However, I foresee they would just come to the AoE2 area and do a point-counterpoint to everything mentioned. Not too productive, in general.

Like I said, I bet the forum as a whole has enough info to go from if MS wanted to read the likes/dislikes about AoE3 or any ideas for a future game. If they announce a new title in the works, rest assured fans from all Age games will chime in, and I bet it will be fairly obvious which fans favor AoE2
