I assume they got some discord were devs consult their opinion before hand and sometimes take it into consideration

Or you should play Aoc 1.0 where the best civs were Chinese, Mayans, Aztecs, Vikings, Huns, Britons with OP bonuses while all other civs were garbage.

So one of the changes I somehow suggested (Changing the Sicilian TB) was made into the game, is nice.

After certain time I considered other ways to nerf Franks and Sicilians, so added now
Plus still not sure what ideas to nerf the chinese more.

That sicilian nerf sounds terrible.

Civ bonus - Demo ships +50% HP removed.
Team Bonus - Farms +10% food is replaced by Demo ship +50% HP.
Incas
Team Bonus - Farms are built 100% faster is replaced by Farms provide +45 food.

Iā€™d nerf them by making Serjeants go on strike blocking TCs resource drop-off capability if recruited with First Crusade.
And by giving Hauberk cavaliers a chance to accidentally kill their horses with that heavy armor.
