Hunters still go after new elephants after finishing gathering food from former ones, even after update 38862 stating the opposite.
- Seems to be more likely when there’s little space for hunters to work.
- It may be related with the Steroids cheat, since this behavior happened when I was using it.
- It happened in Single Player (offline custom match game)
Can you clarify how and when?
My hunters stop working after their current elephant carcass is consumed.
Singleplayer. Happened during a custom match against the AI.
Not sure if this behavioral change was also applied in single player, though…
I tested campaign, scenario(from editor) and custom game and they never went after the second elephant on their own after exhausting the first. So probably an edge case of some kind?
EDIT: Got it. If the villagers do not have enough space to gather from an elephant, they will attack a nearby ele. So put like 20 vils on an ele and you will see them attack a new one by themselves and thus suicide.
Yes! In my case I had very little space, two elephants, and 5+ villagers.
