And according to https://aoestats.io/maps/RM_TEAM Black Forest is one of the least played ranked TG maps across al ELO levels (old map pool but that doesn’t take the argument away). So according to popularity it shouldn’t be in the ranked pool and even the Noobs who play ranked prefer other maps over BF. BF players mostly seem to prefer lobby games. So what’s the reason for it to get a fixed spot here?

Because its still an iconic map which attracts a certain type of player
 With the map preference option, players that would normally play unranked can now choose BF as a preference in ranked and get more balanced games than they would in the abortion of a MP lobby

In my opinion it’s very unfortunate having to waste your only ban on a map that should not be there to start with, if playing 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4. Having at least two bans for all team games would solve this issue. I can’t stand closed maps or mega random. Making team games far less enjoyable to play than it should be.

Sometimes mega random generates closed island maps, I don’t have time for 2 hour long games.

Nomad should be a fixed pick, it has it’s own community and was always being played in custom games 24/7. It still is but the problem is there is no ELO in custom games like in HD/Voobly now, which makes the games terribly uneven.

Make Nomad fixed and Land Nomad a vote IMO.

Nomad is too random for ranked play and most people ban it anyway.

Elo in HD/Voobly is not very accurate because it can be easily manipulated as you choose who to play.

You can check ranked stats of each player in custom lobby and it should give you an idea how good they are (look for solo rating, tg elo doesn’t have to mean anything.) My advice would be don’t play against players without stats because any decent player had been playing ranked to some extent in the past.

Luckily the ranked map pool isnt only for the elite players. You know that most players in the ranked queue arent elite players?!

Not sure when, only know that the patch will be released with the rotation
