What are you missing from previous AOE in AOE4?

This post aims to tell the developers what we miss from previous AOE titles in AOE4.

Below is a list of SOME (not exhaustive) points that I miss from previous AOE titles in AOE4:
-More animals and plants
-More civilizations
-More lively AI (like in AOE3, better would be like in Stronghold)
-Taunts
-Cheats
-Coop-campaign

What are you missing from previous AOE in AOE4?

  • 500 population. (I do not care what anyone says about official ladders sticking to 200. A lot of us play for fun and really enjoy the higher pop cap. I also think it’s a huge step back to cap it at 200 after HD and DE let you hit 500).

  • More visually detailed units. I feel like previous AOE games had more character to the units, despite the fact that units are now unique to their faction.

  • UI was, IMO, better in previous titles. By UI I am specifically referring to the icon styles.
