More viability of consulate armies, as much as Malta can borrow units form others even. New nations to ally with, such as Sweden and USA.

I think the USA can be introduced into the Japanese civ through a rework of the “Meiji Restoration” tech available at consulate after Japanese Isolationism is chosen.

This could take Japan out of isolation and instead ally them with the USA. The techs the USA consulate could provide are better covered in this post attached below…

USA Consulate Idea

I thought I would try thinking what a USA consulate would look like. I think there was a similar thread for a Swedish consulate for China a while ago. I don’t really expect one will be implemented I just thought it would be fun to think about. Here is what I came up with. I think it would make sense as an option for Japan since USA ended Japan’s isolationism but it may be pushing the end of aoe3’s timeline a bit. Maybe it may work for another civ?
