What if the Feitoria worked as a market?

Feitoria has been challenging to balance, since it’s rarely worth building unless all resources have been depleted.

What if Feitoria worked as a slightly-improved market, in addition to its bonus resource generation?

For example, it might give ~5% better buy/sell rates, and give maybe 10% more gold than a normal market. That way it would be good to have in team games, too, like discount spanish.

The thing is that its name alludes to the AoE 3 factories that produce resources all the time… if you change it, it would lose its meaning…

Somewhat, but what it means is ‘trading post’, so it seems reasonable that it’d work as one.

It would make sense if the prices don’t change. The Feitoria as a trading post for the world market, which is so big that players can not manipulate the market prices. But the trading fee should be a bit higher to balance it and because long distance is naturally more expensive. More Feitorias could lower the trading fee.

I still would prefer if Portuguese istead of the current Wood from Berries Bonus could make a single Feitoria in Castle Age.
I once also theorycrafted how this single Feitoria could look like:

It could work like a self-trade station meant for 1v1 late game gold income (that you can raid) but a little bit more profitable so it can have its uses in TG.

Yeah, exactly! That would make it useful in basically every situation, but would take a bit more teamwork, which sounds good to me.
