Or to avoid too much clutter, they can go the opposite path. Drop Europe and Asia altogether and move out all the campaign icons to their respective subregion bookmarks.
That would look much better. Cool idea…
Maybe the option is worded weirdly but if Allow Discussion is unticked, no forum thread will be created.
2025 was a celebration/addition of East Asia for the whole franchise. AoE2, AoE4 and AoMR all had focus on East Asia. Will it be America in 2026?
We are speculating a South American DLC for AoE2. Aztecs is a very popular demand on AoMR forums. Although I have no clue on AoE4, that game can also get some West Atlantic civs.
My new civ suggestion, The Saadians / Moroccans – The Golden Sultanate DLC !
And this is The Badii palace as its wonder ! but this still has alot of work to do i just want to see if this might work or not and how many people will want to play with this new civ.

El Badi Palace (horizontal base, courtyards, reflecting pools)

Vertical Minaret (slender tower inspired by Koutoubia Mosque, green tiles, golden finial) → Together, this creates a balanced tripartite Wonder that symbolizes wealth, memory, and spiritual prestige.
Balance Role
Strengths: Strong economy, versatile cavalry, powerful gunpowder
Weaknesses: Weak navy, limited siege
Playstyle: Boom economy → transition into camel-gunpowder dominance
Looks wonderful. What is the real life inspiration?
These are not coverd under berbers?
All those bonuses already exist (just with slightly different numbers).
Look most point from east Asia architecture :v. Just abit from civ you are mention
the berbers context in age of empires came with the invasion of the Umayyads in europe starting in 740 CE meanwhile this civ context is in the ~1580 CE, almost 1000 year after with a whole new style and philosophy. and there are not berbers but arabs.
that’s just a try and its just numbers as you’ve said. the main objective here is introducing a whole new architectural style of north africa to the game. it could be a brand new DLC coming with 2 or 3 new civs. also, about bonuses, this could be an alternative for the aztecs gold, hindustanis trade and camels, and byzantines strong buildings. just for example, i’m saying that it could balance a lot and come with new strategies as the game is developing and coming with new things and ideas.
i respectfully didnt get your reply
I was just surprised that you only picked existing bonuses.
Nothing wrong with an North African DLC.
1036 villagers and yet none collecting any resources! I suppose that explains why they have -35 stone. Presumably the vague yellow blur resource is only available in the Nlemy Teroet, not in other ages. By the way, your civ description didn’t mention the Vlail [Stafoons, which I guess is their unique building?
Why are they not coverd under saracens then?
I guess you are smarter than this
To be more exact here, a Saracen, in the Middle Ages, is said to any person—Arab, Turk, or other—who professed the religion of Islām. But for this DLC idea, we are targeting the North African civs, Saracen that time were in the middle east. It’s like saying “ why the new three kingdoms DLC is not covered under the Chinese civ ?”. Everything is with its own context.
This is a question half of the community is still asking, how is shu wu wei not chinese.
Since we have 3k factions I guess any faction is fair game to be added in game now.
I don’t know what you mean – I just wanted to draw attention to (what I thought were) funny details in the image you posted. (I don’t have anything to say about the civ suggestion itself, which seems much like Saracens to me.)
As for the Teutons, ideally I’d split them alongside rearranging the identity of some other civs.
Their current castle skin would go to the Normans – mechanically what is now Sicilians, but with West Euro architecture. Sicilians would be redone to take more from the Byzantine and Muslim periods of their history instead of being primarily Norman.
Current Teutons would be renamed “Thuringians”, representing Central Germans and the Teutonic Order.
Two other new civs would be added. The first one, called Saxons, would represent Saxony, Anglo-Saxons, Frisians, and Low Germans. The other one, called Suebians, would represent Bavarians, Swabians, Austrians, and other Upper Germans, as well as the Swiss.
With the addition of Normans and Saxons, current Briton civ would be repurposed to represent Welsh and Bretons (Longshanks campaign would go to the Normans), and Celts could be renamed Gaels to represent Ireland and Scotland.
