Where is the support?

stop whine haha “Always this ungrateful whining on these forums.”

Alas, I don’t think it’s ever going to happen. Age of Empires: Definitive Edition was them testing the waters for the projects they actually care about. Which is a shame, because I far prefer the Ancient setting of AoE1 to the medieval or colonial of AoE2/4 and AoE3, even if AoE2 is a far better game than AoE1.

Hopefully they listen, but this is Microsoft we’re talking about. They’ll just give us a crappy event that turns all Nuke Troopers into Master Chief and never touch the game again.

Eu acho que o código do jogo não permite nem colocar um evento, basta ver como a página inicial do Menu é diferente dos outros

I hope for your sake you’re being sarcastic, because there’s nothing wrong with expecting games to be supported instead of just dumped out and forgotten about.

We can only hope there is a future AOE set in classical antiquity.

If AoE4 will do fine then there is huge chance that next AoE game will be set in same time period as AoE1. Despite that I wish that AoE1DE would receive more content, because it would take many years before next AoE game would come out.

I know this may sound off, but I think it would’ve been interesting if AOE4 covered both ancient and medieval periods. That way, the game could “satisfy” most AOE players. Only problem would be to balance all civilizations/cultures, since most advanced would undoubtedly have an advantage over much older ones.

I don’t know, I already think that high antiquity has a good chance against the early middle ages^^

But yes, it just doesn’t fit together. After all, I always make fun of their beloved medieval elephants.

That’s a very large gap. As they are going for more focused time periods as in Aoe4, I think Greco-Persian war to Early Roman Empire would be a good time window.
Or going for the more “unconventional” setting from dawn of civilization to bronze age collapse.
