If you knew literally anything about history during this period and the Spanish invasion of Mesoamerica, you’d understand that it’s probably more shocking that they didn’t win than the fact that they lost. If the war between Spaniards and the Aztecs had come down to pure military might and nothing else, the Spanish wouldn’t have stood a hint of a chance.
Personally, I want the Haida, the Inuit, the Aztecs, the Incans, the Mapuche and the Mayans as civs. I posted civ concepts for the Nahua and the Seven Fires. I don’t think the Seven Fires would be a good civ, but I wanted to make a civ concept for them anyway, and they use a lot of the mechanics I intend on putting as the foundation for the Haida.
I’m working on civ outlines for the Haida, Inuit, and Icelandic Explorers rn, but elected to not post them for a month because the forums were busy with the game actually being released. Now that a month has passed, I plan on posting the Haida concept in the next few days.
