Persians Kamandaran is completely different from Boiling Oil.
Now they create tons of crossbowmen dirt cheap. That is a huge redesign of how a civilization played.

I didn’t understand earlier the words you guys used. I had a comment limit on new account, so in that break I googled the words you people wrote.
because boiling oil was awful and unused, and persians were a mediocre civ at best.
those crossbows fall off in power in the imperial age and they still focus more on cavalry play as the mainstay.

considering his post was made April 4th at 430 PM (EST) and your comment was made almost 7 hours later at 11:12 PM EST I’d say you had plenty of time to google what words he was using before you made that comment.
not without redesigning the civilization. you want the best battle elephants? its going to require more then just an imperial age UT. you’d have to add civ bonuses for them, and re balance them around having such a beast of a unit, which would mean they would likely lose their camel focus.
i don’t see why not, as i have said before, it’s just not that high a priority of a change for them.
whats more important to you? the balance of the game, bugs getting fixed, or Indians having different sails for their ships?

You even opposed opposed the adding of Ship Sails claiming it is only one civilization.
India is not Middle East. And it already has its own Architecture but it shares the Ship Sails with Berbers. Why shouldn’t it get its ship sails?

Addition of Supplies research (one that make militia line cheaper) affected all civilizations heavily and all were re-balanced accordingly.
umm no. the Militia line doesn’t see much use to begin with, and is primarily used to counter trash units (units that don’t cost gold). so no, adding supplies didn’t impact the game all that much.
Supplies was literally added to every civ that isn’t goths, and then later taken away from some civs, but no civs got major rebalances because they gained supplies.
if so, please show me all these games where Champions are frequently being used.

because frankly, and many will tell you this, but the militia line doesn’t see much use in the game.
you’ll see a lot of 3 militia into M@A openers which DON’T use supplies.

Burmese, Aztecs, Japanese, Vikings all now have an option to go for Militia line. It hugely affected how they used to play like.
Earlier it was all Samurai but now the situation is different.
so show me all those games with those civs regularly using the Militia line.
because frankly, they really don’t use it all that often.
