While i see the point here its still easier to tell things apart with higher saturation, at least on unit colors (but ye it would help if they didn’t make entire unit the team color)

i am familiar with this method and it certainly does help, which makes me wonder why that washed out looking filter ingame even exists, and isn’t toggleable, playing on a potato myself as well, planning to get smt better, but you know, the market

its called low spec renderer for a reason

Now I think you’re just misreading things on purpose. I wasn’t comparing a musketeer to a either hussar or dragoon.

As far as hurting your eyes make sure you have bloom off.

Odio esa niebla. En otra nota, solo juegas PvE?

BUT WE NEEDS IT
ITS THE BEST POST

I agree, i also do sports and try to have a social life and oher hobbies in the evening, i maybe play one game in a few evenings, i more play in the weekend.

I mean , its my post , if its used as trolling im deleting it.

I also can’t tell units apart in this game Marco. I can’t tell apart archers from villagers.

They are all these blobs of color.

I can’t tell the camel archer apart from the camel rider, particularly in Imperial age with their golden upgrades.

With all due respect Marco, based on our conversations on different forum, I think you play the game very casually at a slow pace(which is perfectly okay), which affects how you look at the game.

Yes, graphics in AoE4 is generally okay. I don’t have a problem with how pretty it is. But the art style (and the zoom) is not the best for fast paced gameplay. Buildings are not very recognizable at a glance unlike the square shaped barracks in AoE2/3 or the L shaped stable in those games. Units aren’t very quick to get at glance as well. Sometimes I want to see as much of the map as I possibly can and recognize my units as quickly as I can - the art style and zoom makes that difficult to do.
