yeah that is the plan, to reskin persian war elephant. it always felt weird that it doesn’t have a rider while the battle elephants do.

The Immortal unit looks nice but it appears too stretched and pixellated for UHD. It’s too tall compared to regular infantry. If it could be improved to be sharper and aligned with the other infantry units like Teutonic Knights or such in height, it would be perfect.

mine isnt UHD I used x1 graphic. i didnt try UHD for x2 though my mod didnt support it. just the decay graphics is a single frame and with lots of dead bodies makes it hard to see when army is on top of it during game play so I made it fade away decays.

Hey @Amburio ! Is there any chance to get the current DAT and SPL files? I would like to try to make a minimal playable version, just enough to advance from Stone Age to Bronze Age in a skirmish game, maybe two civs, just small enough to get started and experience some of the AoE 1 magic in the AoE 2 engine. From hunting your first gazelle to sending your swordsmen into enemy base.

I am also interested in your mod @xWHIT3W0LFx did you make any progress with it? It would probably be much closer to what I would like to make, staying very close to AoE 1 DE in order to speed up the development process, and not spend too much time on adding too much original content.

Unfortunately I had to stop working on it. University takes much more time than expected…

no destruction animation yet im assuming?

Unfortunately not, without a tool to automate the animations, the process would be far too time consuming I think. What is reasonable, is to create a rubble that matches the features of the building. If others have come up with a creative workaround, let me know.

Will you guys add triremes as well? What you guys made so far looks amazing! Would love to play it.

I am currently using the Trireme from AOE in the game with other assets. Some Screenshots on a Ludicrous map Scenario I am playing with :slight_smile:

I am currently playing with HD graphics (X2) SMS files. I would need someone to assist to release this in standard. The other contributors have gone silent lately, and I have struggled to publish a mod this size. If anyone wants to help, please let me know.

I really love how some of these graphics look in game.

Wow looks great! Wish i could help but i have no clue how to mod. Is it expensive to hire someone for some Graphical work? I would be willing to spend a little for that matter.
