It has nothing to do with AOE, but I would like to be able to delete my inactive posts and topics without having to self-report them.
Are you talking about the 2 settlers 1 hacienda? Because Euro civs have a 2350-2700 age 1 card then. Dutch even having a 4750-5100 age 1 card.
Well, probably this is going too much text, but I think this is important, unless someone says otherwise:
- Aztecâs Nobles Hut units should not have âKnightâ on their names. While they are meant to represent the Mexica nobility, a âknightâ concept does not fit the Aztecs, since they do not have something similar to âknighthoodâ.
Example: Arrow Knights are possibly based on Huastec Archers, but they didnât were knights. - Haudenosaunee Tomahawks could be changed to melee units. For what I know, Tomahawks were not used as ranged weapons by native warriors, but mainly in melee combat.
- Lakota Axe Rider, despite the name, uses a gunstock club. At least changing the weapon model would be more accurate.
- Iâm very sure this would be impossible to change at this point, but Landsknechts should be the regular units, and Doppelsoldners the mercenary ones (of course, balancing their stats to not make them too OP).
- A card for Mexicans referring to the âSt. Patrickâs Battalionâ, that send some Irish Brigadiers. Would be a nice detail.
And I think thatâs all, for now
By powercreep I mean boosting everyone up to a point where most boundaries are surpassed.
Thatâs because the game is around shipping 3vills and then 4 vills, but then youâd be sending those cards and much more (gather bonus) so the game would be much faster, the timing would be shorter and some civs would be unbalanced (indians get +1 vil per card, Turks have slow generating bills, ports have no vills card) for better or worse.
Just imagine dutch with faster coin gather, better yield and 3 vills. Or spice trade giving a whopping 5 vills in age 2. Weâd be reaching a much stronger economy much, much sooner than now.
I like this idea. I really like it and I even suggested a couple of vills for those useless economic Age 1 cards:
Ok, I think in those cases you could reduce or eliminate the number of settlers a civilization gets from the cards, but it would probably be too much work, better if only the first cards send you villagers, the others could send you agrarian construction carts.
I think this card should be team and affect all revolutions.
Independence Movements: Mexican revolutions (including returning to Mexico) cost -20%
Iâd like to auto generate explorer names like we could in legacy. We donât get to choose their names unless we come up with names ourselves, and thatâs rather lame. For shame.
We need more Animal from all previous series, especially more herdable option:
Pig, Goose, Chicken, Duck, Softshell turtles, Shore Fish, etc.
And make some decorate animal become useful more than Treasure Guardian, like Horse, Camel, Bear, Crocodile, etc.
You could gather Horse and Camel to train more cavalries or train cavalries faster, gather another animalâs skin for Fur trade to make money.
