I’m glad we’ve finally slowed down the Aztec AI. Maybe now we can turn our attention to nerfing the Port AI. I seem to lose my Abus Gunners to their Casadors every time.

I think the veteran buff should reverse this nerf. Or just make ulan strong again, but the penalty for sending is higher.

The big winners were Hussars and Greatcoat vills. Imo it was a good change.
Also I believe with the Vet Tech they kill Skirmishers and Cassadors at the same rate as before. Vet tech is probably more critical than before in age 3 but it was basically a must get anyway.
A 1% shipment curve buff might be fair, but Germany was on the strong side before the nerf. They just got less attention due to the US and Ottomans who were (and at least for the Ottomans), are, still bigger offenders imo.
Someone needs to nerf Inca’s AI on water. Or don’t, I quite enjoy watching humans get their entire fleet wiped out by chincha rafts

Yeah, I think a lot of the complains are due to players not knowing how to counter units.
For example Chinaco cav is stated as ‘OP’ unit, when high tier players barelly use them for being considered weak and expensive.
I guess low tier players prettend to stop 30 anti inf horses [6000res] with 10 musketeer [1000res] its just funny to think about it.
Because they are objectively is OP and you are delusional.
People expect to beat them with equal resources of top tier heavy cavalry or heavy infantry, and Chinacos annihilate both with only a few cards.
Any civ without good light cavalry gets wrecked by them.
well they are OP but not in the setting that Pro players use since they need their cards to be OP which will happen in team or treaty games but not really in the high level 1v1 games

Plain chinaco also loses vs equal resources of plain heavy infantry [melee musk]
If you want the counter to be stronger you can mix musk + dragoon, but in quantity of resources at least equal to the resources according to the number of Chinacos
