If we’re going for the “Cat Expansion”, Bengals and Siamese are the two most obvious ones. They’d fit with the recent pattern too. Maybe we’ll get an extra Indian or African civ to round it out considering that I’m still convinced this is going to be a three civs expansions. The achievements point at that.
Agree that they could really show us something right now. This just seems unnecessary. Not like they’ve told us two months ago that we’re going to get a roadmap either.
Reading how it’s written doesn’t give the impression of any new civs news. She says “you may have played with those Civilizations before, but let’s learn about their cultures…”

Moors/Andalusians maybe? Not really Berber, not really Saracens. When we’re looking at which detail level the latest civ additions have been, it wouldn’t really surprise me anymore to be honest.

No way it’s going to be this. Most people get the DLCs for the new civs, me included.
Im talking about it maybe including more campaigns, I dont see a campaign only DLC happening
Persian, Turks? Maybe, I don’t know. I don’t really care to be honest. Not really interested in new campaigns considering most of my playtime is in skirmish mode.
So we should find clues about engagements and which occassions did cats changed the course of war?

Another possibility is the new DLC would not be announced through this specific blog section. I don’t think today’s post has any hint at all about the new DLC. I wonder how and when they will present the new expansion to the community

I know it’s not helpful at all but I think it’s useless to speculate right now with literally zero pieces of information except some hyperboles on things they might have pointed at in official sources.
The only thing we really know for sure is
The two, with our information at disposal right now, might actually be completely unrelated.
