the game isn’t running from microsoft store what’s wrong whenever i click on the play button it just doesn’t run

I make AI scripts for AoE1 so an ability to add custom AI players into random map and deathmatch games like in AoE2 rather than just scenarios would be much appreciated!

I’ve got one particular AI that defeats the standard AI in random map land maps most of the time. But I don’t know if the standard AoE1 AI scripts is compatible with the Definitive Edition.

I love how the AI resigns and stuff in DE… but stronger AI scripts and the ability to add them to DE random map and deathmatch games would be simply fantastic.

It would be also good to add new units or at least have possible upgrades for already existing ones ( axemen, scouts, camels, slingers )

Clicking anywhere on the game menu just redirects me to this site. Also, its not working on my multi-monitor setup, ust restricting the game window to one single screen. Steam plz guys, don’t kill this game, we want it on Steam.

Hi there,

I’d like to see some crucial but important things in to this game in a future patch:

  • Give us the feature to build up a queue for the farms, just like in AoE2. I actually don’t know why you wouldn’t want to include a feature like this in a remastered edition of AoE which is to make it better than before.

  • Give us different formations for our units to create interesting and dynamic formations when moving around our soldiers in to battle.

  • Grant us the possibility to build Gates so we can build around our base with a wall, instead of leaving some area open for attack.

This is just a few of ideas that I’d want to see, which this game is surely missing. This is 2018 and I expected much more of a remastered edition of my beloved game.

So when are you actually going to release the game for the people who want to play it? (That means not all these people who buy it from the Windows Live Xbox Store (or whatever it is called)) but people who like the gameseries and want to play them together without nonstop blockades. Which means, Steam release when? Nobody will buy it from Windows Store anyways.

The same thing happens to me, just that a small window with the logo of the game opens and closes again.

hi, please improve pathfinding.

i jumped into game at 00:01 :slight_smile: its really nice, but pathing is very annoying. esspeccialy for melee units.

Pressing any menu item in the game is redirected to the game site. Fix it!

Guys, please add:

  1. Replay - recorded games fuction, just like all others age of empires.

  2. Flare in minimap , it would be very helpful in multiplayer games

When I first started game, went through setup and to single player campaign, but when pressed play, took me back to store. Rebooted computer, now when I click on App, first screen opens then closes back to desktop.

I live in Brazil, my game is not starting.
