We don’t care now as well according to you. This is why we don’t take you guys seriously because as soon as someone else has another opinion than what suits you then you call us that we don’t care or don’t know what we are talking about etc.
I suggest you look at yourself in the mirror and rethink about the whole approach that you do because it isn’t healthy attitude in my humble opinion.
And some people with nothing more than “I don’t care I really don’t care” and “you’re using China to fight against England on….” which is not even an opinion.
And I shall take someone’s comment seriously who only been negative towards this game since launch? No surprise you feel this way about the expansion you never said anything positive about AoE4 in its whole life cycle from what I have seen and still you linger around the forums for a game you clearly hate with a passion.
No 1: it is added to the game.
No 2: no 1 is important enough.
Everyone can do a thought experiment: if you time travel to some time before the announcement, would that come up on the top of your list of expectation? Would you consider it a great idea? Would you come up with the same “arguments” to defend it?
Im not saying they are the only ones that shut down any discourse, but at this point just complaining about the name is about as useful as making a post saying hurry up and make AOE5.
What’s even the goal? Should we return the name to Jade Empre? Do people want it called China 2.0? Or are they trying to do the impossible and make them delete a civilization that the vast majority of vocal players have no issue with.
FYI I’m not supporting this boycotting thread. I am however participating in discourse around a very specific subject that annoys me about the DLC, and I think it is fair for someone to voice their concerns if they have any. It has been brought up here with people using bad examples and reasons to effectively try to shut it down.
I have in multiple occasions providided with constructive feedback and criticism for this game and I still do to this day. But what would you know about it all you do is write assumptions and other stupid comments to only try hurt the game and talk negatively about other people who have a different opinion than you.
We all know there is literally no room for any real work to be done to those civs between the announcement and release. That’s why all they can do is to come up with an equally bad name, but
They can slowly fix the inconsistency through time (surprise surprise, 2DE and 3DE do this).
They can put a little more efforts into these aspects for their future designs.
If nobody brings this up and everyone goes merry and happy, one day they will make a decision that you feel bad.
And I will be not-caring.
For the most part I haven’t really had any issues with your posts, but there are a number of people ragging on the DLC and choices with either hyperbole saying that we might as well add space marines if we are naming something Zhu Xi’s Legacy, or people just insulting devs calling them lazy and how “everyone with eyes” can see the devs just made bad lazy DLC
also i did but this game is not giving its best and everytime tries something good which mostly are from fe team the game launches more thing that mess this game. People has enough of this and this is not an proper aoe
Following your own logic:
I DON’T SEE much of a difference between a civilization called Zhu Xi’s Legacy and space marines in the game. Multiplayer is never immersive. You already use Chinese to fight England in Sweden.
Who are those people exactly? The ten ish of you that linger around these forums daily bashing on everything that has to do with AoE4?
The fact of the matter is that this expansion has been overwhelmingly positive, apart from the name issues with some variant civilizations which I also took part in to provide with my feedback towards the developers.
everyone who left this game. Remenber thta this game used to have more 70k?
and this forum/reddit/opther steam reacction to this. every one agrees that this one fails to deliver and the only one that is positive is mostly come from japan/byzantine civs
There was still some mild contention around Jeanne as a civ even after the name change. But outside of that the reception has been overwhelming positive barring like half a dozen people on the forum.
