  • OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Game not responding to any mouse/keyboard action after switching input method (IME) in-game.
Cannot take back control even I managed to switch IME back to default English.
This bug has been there for 2 years. See below:

  1. Game does not respond to keyboard and mouse input
  2. Losing game control when chatting with Chinese input method

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

  • 25% of the time / matches I play (SOMETIMES)
    Could be less if I be careful, but 100% reproducible.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Make sure you have IME (verified with Japanese and Chinese Zhuyin) other than default English installed in PC, then open the game.
  2. Switch to the other input method.
  3. The game gets stuck; no respond to any mouse/keyboard whatsoever.
  4. Could also happen when you switch window focus to other app, switch input methods there and switch back to game window. The game will also get stuck.

Game should pick up mouse/keyboard regardless of input methods

Geez I forgot there are already active threads on this issue:

  1. Game does not respond to keyboard and mouse input
  2. Losing game control when chatting with Chinese input method

Devs please let me know if you wish to set up some time to watch me do a real-time demo cuz it’s been 2 years and still driving me nuts

FYI this issue is still not fixed. It has been improved tho – it’s not reproducible at the first 30~50min when I opened the game. However after some time it still freezes when I accidentally switched input methods.
