This forum is a lawless mess of spam, yet the moderators are obsessed with silencing real discussion. It’s blatant censorship. They’ll ignore actual rule-breaking for days but will instantly kill an on-topic thread the moment they disagree with the sentiment.
This isn’t your personal forum, nor is it a pro-AI paradise. The second someone posts pro-AI crap, people have the right to clap back.
You seem to care about them a lot, so much so that you had to write 3 posts in a row. You care so much even that you use bold and CAPSLOCK text. If I didn’t care I wouldn’t reply to a message.
This thread is about the community and not about the game itself, so talking about those kinda things is on topic in my opinion.

i also honestly looked at our current god portraits of Demeters siblings (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and Hera) and when i look at them i get really pissed and concered about the mental state of some indivuals and that some accuse me to not be “lore-friendly to the myth” and i never visited a museum @Moonshadow7475 - during all these images are not “lore accurate” and what is real here in a fantasy-setting out of ppls imaginations and in a freaking video-game?! (for the record i personally like the god-portraits how they currently are but all including new ones should go with the same vibe i like consisntecy in game design and visuals but it seems others here for whatever reason not)
i really tried to take the negative feedback and rage seriously but the more i think about it, the more it gets more and more ridiculous to me.
also i only splitted my comments not with the intension to spam but cause i often see MatM1996 comments and how he respons in one post to every person the past days and i found this hard to read personally.
but even @RatcicleFan obviously has concerning issues but you @BornWinter52864 also write too aggressive and you also did spam the forum with posts BUT yours were never off-topic and always about the game i give you that and i appreciared your contribution and your initially surprisingly sane comments.

The second you bring up AI in the forum it’s a problem of the forum.
And that was extremely dumb. People were screaming AI without proof. If people will call any art they don’t like AI, it’ll just make it harder to fight against AI, and make actual artists’ lives harder.
actually ii was.i liked some (like Hera and Skadi) but i really hated beta Bast portrait. how did you come to the conclusion i wasn’t? cause i didn’t gave AI inputs and visual suggestions back then? i was there and AI just grew more on me recently. i remeber the discussions but i thought its cause of the lack of quality in some of them.

Osiris clearly had 6 fingers at some point.
But they fixed it afterwards. Not everything was AI but there was AI involved.

The likelihood of a company under microsoft’s group to not have used AI in a picture which exhibits 6 fingers is very low, too low to not warrant backlash.
Microsoft is one of the main promoters of AI and backers of openAI, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the posters on this forms are in fact LLMs
Paranoia won’t help anyone, Microsoft is a shitty company but Forgotten Empires isn’t Microsoft.
Characters can intentionally be created to have more or less than five fingers, which is another reason why I’m against using finger count as the sole proof of whether something is AI or not.

Even i am not a former or recent professional artist like @RatcicleFan i already draw sometimes with acrylic (on a more basic level) and i NEVER draw a person with 6 fingers more likely i drew 4 (or just implied a rourgh shape) cause of the sometimes problems with perspectives i had in older times.
so in my honest opinion you cannot defend such erros so i have to agree with @Moonshadow7475 here.

My response as a Designer and Artist I am against AI Art, but crearly it helps us a lot to have a start point for our creativity while reducing friction job tasks.
This AI-artversion concept explains how an existing idea could be greatly improved. So is definitely an improvement over the other.
In terms of sexualizing a work of art, please come on! is just a leg and a thigh. I find her right to the point of not being oversexualized or so.

you don’t have to like me or the stuff i let AI make but i really wish some ppl here would be as sane and objective as e.g. you. you win. (also some guys should 1. look at heras portrait - which i personally like and 2. should reconsider what “sexual” or “skimpy” actually is.) i even let my very onservative and very sane sister look at the art (who likes to draw but is also no professional) and she said quote “what the f**** is the problem of these guys. there is nothing about its its just feminine” she also said she doesn’t look too young but could look a bit older.
and i don’t know any more sane and intelligent person than my sister irl.

It’s an asset from a game and an anime screenshot. Specifically from one of those big studios that don’t make obvious mistakes.
Also, totally not suspicious that you call anyone who agrees with you objective.
AI is not a necessity, including for concept arts. People have been drawing without AI for millennia now, we didn’t need AI before it existed, we won’t need it now that it does.
