He doesn’t have to agree with me its how he writes and what arguments he brings to the table. that you bring this up just shows how subjective you are - for as i mentioned partly understandable reasons.
but again ultimately is was only secondary about AI and more about the visuals and its criticism and ppl like leroy_jenkinsh , TheLiberator236 and others about this “style” topic and also all who commented on the level differences between this forum and other forum sites like reddit (and maybe twitter/“x” too?) understood this.
i also want to point out one last time that i also find AI scary and to some degree concerning but its part of our future and there were other things like the internet and machines like telephones, radios etc who changed things more drastically. ppl adpated and moved on so will we. i am also sorry for all artists who are scared about their jobs and lost or might lose them. but this can happen to nearly every job you are in - unfortunately and its nothing new, the AI reason just is, currently.
Also we really should care more about what is off-topic in that regard and what not and TheLiberator236 understood this task despite the personal issues he also has (and i bet the sympathy he shares for your situation @RatcicleFan )
I’m just gonna barge in here and point out the obvious that Reddit is pure cancer, it relies on “weird stuff” in the feed, plus pornography, in order to profit from users. Reddit only exists because people aren’t very smart and they are addicted to pornography and ragebait. There is nothing good about Reddit. I made an account on there recently and it didn’t take very long before I got shadowbanned. I realised that nobody had voted for or against one of my replies, so I opened a private window and guess what? I can’t see my posts unless I’m logged in. I’m the only user who can see my posts. Reddit is a dishonest website and it’s not surprising that forums have better users. Reddit is for petulant 14 year old boys and people just need to stop using it completely. The world news section of Reddit is utter garbage too. Not a single intelligent comment on anything.
I notice a similar theme with the War Thunder “community” in-game versus on the forum. In the game I’ll say “trash team” when the team just dies and respawns over-and-over, and often someone will insult me because of my kills-deaths ratio, even when the enemy team has captured all 3 control points and my team is struggling to leave the spawn area because they refused to push forward in the first 5 minutes of gameplay. Yet on the War Thunder forum almost everyone is reasonable, and forum members acknowledge that a lot of the playerbase just suck at the game and lack a frontal lobe.
yeah the original topic also was about the quality differences between this official forum and other plattforms like in my example reddit. it seems many agree with you from what i wrote and i will take your guys feedback seriously and will think about twice or more before posting anything there again and being active at all. thanks for contribution.

People aren’t attacking you gratuitously, they’re telling you that AI is bad and why AI is bad, and all you did was say “there are other bad things in the world” as if that negates the waste of resources and art theft that fuel AI slop.
Also, I don’t care about Reddit’s reputation (I left that site during the API debacle), but I’m not a fan of people here implying hating AI is some sort of fringe opinion exclusive to reddit.

Yeah AI is bad on that matter and there are plenty of reasons on why.
The point is he is trying its best on how the portrait could be better with very nice ideas and suggestions

I use AI as well and I am a Designer
AI helps me a lot for quick editing and is now embedded into Photoshop and other major creativity software.
So please stop it!

Yeah I stopped posting there myself. My only issue is that when I use Google most of the time it shows the answer from Reddit. So if I want to see what the answer to my problem is I usually have to use Reddit.
For the most part most people here are sane enough to have a conversation without ranting too much. Which is why I prefer to use the forums. My only wish is that the devs were active here. If they hadn’t been listening to feedback I would assume we are talking to ourselves.

You don’t need AI to help you, companies that already invested in AI need you to depend on AI or else they can’t make money.

Reddit has a lot of problems that are exclusive to it. If you post about an old game that’s on sale they’ll downvote you. I lost karma just for posting about a 2015 title. Anything posted on reddit can get attacked and the mobs will down vote. The only people using reddit these days are teenagers and beta males who enjoy walking on eggshells and who only ever express opinions that are known to be popular. It’s all about people pleasing and following the hive mind. I definitely wouldn’t post anything I’d created onto reddit. I’d be swarmed by unemployed down voting brigades within 2 hours.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I’ve only seen it referenced as a mindset.
It’s a pseudoscience for misogynistic men. It’s really not something to talk about proudly.
And the original study that originated that “mindset” was from a guy who studied wolves in captivity and incorrectly assumed that applied to wild wolves. It doesn’t, and since then he has been trying to stop people from perpretating that incorrect study.

Well, let me show my (not) humble orinion about this.
I think the sosial media platforms nowadays are literrally what they were allowed to become.
There is a statement the privacy in the internet allowed people with mental disorders (diagnosed or undiagnosed) to equal in value of their statements with mentally healthy people.
The social media could have been better place if there were not allowed to post to narcissists, hysteroids, abusers, megalomaniacs, paranoics, conspyrologists etc.
But it is too often you don’t know whom are dealing with in the social media communities until they start to try bulling or simply sh*t your day because your honest opinion haven’t met their morbid vision of the world.
And I am very glad I cannot say none of before about this community
