It's Mexico

Another thing: Why is the civ flag the one of the Three Guarantees Army instead of the Revolution civ flag? The Revolution civ’s flag is much more identifiable & doesn’t confuse with Bulgaria…

None of the Historical Battles are actually about the Mexican-American War, or even the Alamo/Texan Revolution, it’s Grito de Dolores vs Spain, the Burning of the USS Philadelphia is in Tripoli, Libya & the Battle of Queenston Heights is in Ontario, Canada during the War of 1812???

i think Venezuela could be too

I highly dislike the US civ. concept as it’s way too much for me and Mexico looks to be the same concept. Close combined is also the one-civ.-per-dlc concept, which I equally hugely dislike.

I’m much more open-minded to very different mechanics, units and cards as long as it’s not unique to one civ. only. Three american civs (TWC), sure let’s discover new territories. Three asian civs. (TAD), same. Much more and most extreme so far and just one (US)? And now more of the same, groundbreaking stuff for just one civ. (Mexico)? Revolt every age and revert it while keeping the revolution benefits, wut? And so, sooo much more.

A third African civ. in the same style (!) as the two existing ones would have made much more sense for me. It’d have been the African way of playing, like there’s the (non-US) American way (eg mostly no artillery) and Asian one (eg wonders). I hope it’s not too late for a third African civ. in the same spirit as its two others.

But standalone super-mega different civs, that isn’t for me. I might change my mind in the future, but so far I haven’t.

If releasing US-like dlcs is the only way AoE III keeps getting official support, I do support it however.

Americans was kind of meant as a “sorry the launch was boorked” while mexico is launch now that the game at large has fixed its issues.

I’m not brazilian, altough have family there.
I mean its hypocrisy now to deny Brasil, if there is enough fan support.
I will definitely support it.

I would have preferred the revolutions to stay revolutions, but that time is gone now. So bring on Brasil.

Different age up mechanics seems to the theme at which they design new civs around.

The US civs as it were has federalism as a an age up mechanic

The african civs has alliances as a mechanic

This makes brazil more likely then Italy in the near future cause if Italy was going to be a civ, it would be more classical euro civ ( maybe a federal theme works for italy as well)

Me pregunto ¿nos darán la posibilidad de desbloquearlo gratis como paso con EE.UU?.

doesnt look like it.

No, I don’t think so.

It’s paid but it’s really cheap, on my country it’s 3,40 dollars which is alright for 2 hours of SP content + 1 civ

I hope there’s an age 4 card to allow Mexico and USA to train each other’s outlaws. ¡Bandidos Yanquis!

That the game has support and new things constantly, is the best Christmas gift you can ask for.

No, it would be the great Colombia that covered the territory of current countries, including Venezuela.

Many complain (myself included) that revolution-type civilizations shouldn’t become playable full facsions, but the truth is that the mechanics they use to make sense of it are very ingenious. For example, you start out as a humble settlement without much support and politically uninteresting, but as you progress and want to cooperate with certain states, and they support you, you eventually become a powerhouse at the end of the game.

All this supposes an activity many years before it was an independent nation.
