And what did the developers change that was not described in the patch ? Well I mean except for the inclusion of walls for AI.

Not a lot, its just scouting stuff that seems to make mention of walls, but it seems important.

The new version is already out with changes aimed at nomad and naval maps

Is there a 250 Population version of your mod?
As far as i know: it is not possible to activate 2 Mods at the same time.

@JakcieChan1178 Hi, im making a mod to play with my friends and theres only 1 big issue right now, im using the official AI and if you have any defenses at all in your base, they NEVER attack you, no matter what, they just stand at their base the entire game, even if i capture the sacred spots and im about to win the game, they will just stand at their base and let me win. I cannot use your AI because its only possible to have 1 Tunning pack at a time, could you help me in what i have to change to make the AI attack as much as possible?

@JakcieChan1178 Is it possible to force or heavily centivise AI to build walls in lategame? Something like if they are at max pop and have at least 1k stone they should allways start walling

I honestly don’t know. The files I work with are very limited and does not actually touch a lot of the ai’s specific behaviors. Even though I can influence them I am pretty much working with trial and error on what works and what does not. If I were to guess there is a pretty high chance my mod won’t change anything with your mode in terms of a more “attacking” ai.

In the topic of “open source” files. I may get to it if im not lazy. Currently you can “access” the compiled files from a pretty trial and error process (there should be a mod folder with a number attached to the mod that is organized by release date). That is how I was able to access zycat’s old ai and make this mod in the first place. I swear if I remember later on I will have a download or something.

I don’t know. Theres not a lot of things I can do to influence walls in the files I am given. I try to add stuff but they seem to not really care.

One thing I would like to warm you is the fact that the ai takes a long time to actually win. They don’t protect sacred sites as well. I made them not build wonders as early especially in 1v1s. They also dont do anti building siege well.

Try it out though I would love to see it.

Hey everybody:
I’ve been updating the mod more to now include the easier difficulties (easy, intermediate, hard)! Right now, the easy-hard difficulties now use their own “priorities” when it comes to building and only has limited access to the additions in the mod. This does make the easier ais better than their vanilla counterparts if only slightly. The easier ais also have worse combat and overall focuses less on military compared to hardest.

I can further build on this in the future, enjoy it! Right now im gonna wait until the upcomming balance patch soon.

Ya, just seen it out of nowhere. I updated the mod with it. Mainly, included some stealth changes that the devs added, I will update more if I find more but what I have found right now includes a few behind the scenes kind of additions that would make sense not to indulge in the patch notes. One thing that was weird is that the new Japanese tech is not included in what the ai should research. I added that.

One thing that has just been getting updates is the “machine learning”. I still seriously don’t know what its purpose is besides deciding what units are good and not but maybe its something to keep an eye on?
