Ok when I tried to use the mod only the champion and some other units changed the rest stayed the same. Is this a new addition?
As for MS, I dunno, I mean they did get FE onboard because they made some good mods so I don’t see why they wouldn’t do that, also I didn’t consider you some “random guy”.
Hey I just tried this mod, I noticed the American archers and skirmishers have a weird graphic bug when attacking. I’ll let you know if I notice anything else.
Edit: seems like its a similar thing for all the new archer and skirmisher models.
Also did you know that the south east Asian monk turns into a cart when he picks up a relic? lol
I really wana like this mod but so much of the animation is jarring and the unit choices just don’t gel. Like the Aztec war galley becoming a smaller version of the galley when upgraded when you’d expect it to become bigger.
hello! I was yesterday playing the Almeida campaign, the last scenario. The mod was working perfect but I had trouble because the long monk trining time. So today I tried to play it again without the mod, so I disabled it. The units became invisible as it has occured before.
So I tried reverting the data file to its original place, invisivle units… Then I unsuscribed from the mod, but when opening the game it said it couldnt create world because some ‘required dataset’ was unavailable, the scenario then didn’t start (waited enough to give up), tried the same with standard and art of war, wouldn’t start. It was like the game couldn’t work without the mod. Downloading it again and moving the files didn’t work either, the gear was changed for a ‘downloading’ that never dissapeared, and it sometimes changed back into the gear, not the check. The file would appear then in both places.
Yes, I didn’t make the backup and messed things up
but it stills appears when I download the mod again, and after I move the files againg I can play but with invisible units
I was playing the Genghis Khan campaign and te mod works mostly well. I activated the mod since the second scenario, which was saved from before (I had played it without the mod). The already existing buildings changed their architecture set after something was researched or created in them, that isn’t a big issue as the scenario wasn’t started with the mod from the beginning. The bug is in the houses, new houses were invisible, and the TC from the enemy was a mixture of the old and the new mongol set. Trying to build a new TC also was invisible. In the third scenario TC was working well, no issues, though the houses i built where still invisible. So I think the TC problem was just because I continued a game that was played without the mod before.
The other issue is with the skirmishers, they look OK till they attack. When attacking they either become invisible or their animation seems to be aiming the spear to the wrong direction (but it still throws it to the objective).
It’s weird because it doesn’t seem like there is something wrong with the files, because everything else works perfectly, so it should be a bug. And of course overall I still and will always love this mod, no matter what.
