Hi really enjoying the game but this is happening tonight and it’s preventing me and my friend from playing.

Issue:

Multiplayer lobbies I create are not visible to other players and no one can join. Me and my friend want to play but if we create a lobby, it s hidden for other players

Reproduction Steps:

Here’s how to reproduce the problem:

  1. Open AOE 2 DE (Steam)
  2. Create Lobby (public) server: westeurope
  3. No one joins, game is not visible even for my friend, until I invite him

Exactly the same problem to me today ! Very annoying!!

SO today I cant join any game and I cant create a lobby either. There are also very few games being hosted compared to usual activity

Hi, happens for me and my friend too, we bought game yesterday. Yesterday we wanted to try game togerther against AI, that was total laggy and first a lot of players connected while we were setting up discord. Now, when we want to play PvP noone joins. We can see our lobby, but e. g. for half an hour still noone joins, so other cant see our lobby sadly. :frowning:
Are they working on a solution?

Cannot creaty a party in ranked or lobby browser tonight while I was playing juste half an hour ago.

Same for me and my friend today. Lobbies does not appear so no one join.
Super annoying !

Hello, I cant play since I get error whenever I try to invite my friend to a game.
I cant join lobbys and cant create my own lobby.

everyone has this problem. i chatted with 5 friends. all the same problem. cant ranked, cant lobby browser

Same here, trying to play from Germany. 8 Friends of me have the same problem.

Same here. And it was already the case yesterday evening ; I was able to play a game normally around 9pm but about 10pm all the servers were down…

Confirming the same results. Pings are off the charts.

Are they down on purpose for Hidden Cup 3 ?

Because same thing happened yesterday at about the same time or is it due to too many players.
