Anyone know what the Persian castle look like now? They have the Indian architecture set but all of them had different models for castles, so do they have a new one now as well like Hindustanis got?
They do not. That was just Kabul from the Babur campaign.

Persian new Paladin is outright OP. It has 15 hp less than Paladin but it has +1/+1 armor in return. It has +2 vs Archer and gain +5 gold for every unit they killed. As a result, Persian Paladin is far stronger than Franks’ and its upgrade is cheaper than Paladin upgrade. Persians will become best civilization with this change.
New Georgians have best late game Hussar civilization. Their Hussars, regenerate 15 hp per minute, -15% less pop space (which means 80 Hussar with 68 pop space) and Georgian has 10% faster working villager thanks to boost of Fortified Villager. This Hussar is better than Winged Hussar. This DLC seems like created by amateur AOE2 fans.
As for Armenian, I proposed Long Sword in Feudal Age and everyone laughed me. Now I laughed to AOE2 Devs because I had realized that Longsword in Feudal Age is bad idea but AOE2 Devs didn’t.

The Savar is upgraded from the Cavalier. It looks nothing like it. They needed to change the Persian cavalier and knight skins too.

Agree. I am just hoping that it’s because the DLC and the free Persian update are separate, and it just works different on the early access people’s systems.
If you sort Persians by topic on some forums, literally half of them are asking for the Central Asian set for them. As it’s the correct one.

New Persian UT is basically the Star Fort tech from my Americans joke concept. I guess I’ll have to think of something else, but keep the cosmetic change somehow.

They were S+ tier with Dark Age eco techs and now they have Parthian Tactics in Castle Age and a raiding bonus on top.

And Savar is cheaper to get into and kill archers harder than paladin, combine that with the Caravanserai for better trade, Persians will be like 2020 Khmer in TGs and pre nerf Hindustani…
They certainly will be the best civs, outclassing Armenia and Georgia for sure.

Yeah they are same strong as Paladin in melee while a monster against archers and defensive buildings.
Still nowt even close to Bulgarian Hussars overall with their 33% attack speed, and in massed melee battles winged Hussars are strictly better, 33% trample damage is still insane and broken with the folwark eco.
Nah. No on can stop Armenians boom into trash castle drop that can train Condotterio in Castle Age and also heal and pick up relic.
Also there is absolutely no way Persians will be better than Armenians in Arena or closed maps in general.

In melee fight, Bulgarians and Poles is better but Georgians Hussar is best considering all the aspects. Bulgarians has stronger Hussar but Georgians has one of the strongest eco bonus (10% faster working villagers), number advantage (15% less pop space) and 15 hp per second. More pop-space is underrated, Georgian Hussar swarm all of enemy’s eco with extra Hussars. Winged Hussar is strongest in melee but it lacks 2 Pierce armor. Georgians have last armor upgrade, too.
Why do the Armenians get bad siege??? That was historically their thing!

Bad siege and cavalry Armenians with a naval focus wasnt what I expected honestly lol

It’s like they’re designed to be the antithesis of the Bagratid Dynasty. Obviously very different from my concept.
I dont get the hate for Archer civs, we have gotten so many Cavalry-Hussar civs recently: Georgians, Poles, Romans, Sicilians and Burgundians + Literally every Last Khans civs
Also if we get Jurchens, Tibetans, Kanembu etc. in the future, they should all be cav civs.
