What time to watch exactly?
The Forgotten 2: The Recalled
The Forbidden Kingdoms of Asia sounds like a good name.
15:00 - 18:00 local time (gmt +2), so 8 minutes left
Don’t expect any AOE 2 DE news here tbh, AOM RE is very close now to release to yet promote new from another game.
Well it’s a 4 day event, even if we get nothing day one (which I don’t expect, as AoM gets top billing), we can get something later.
Devs know we can see new achievements and DLC files. So why put them up before an event like this?
On the other hand, what would make a better 25th Anniversary than adding a long-requested civ that nearly made it in several times?
Very wishful thinking that won’t happen. Heck, I won’t even imagine a 3 civs DLC like DOI anymore.
Maybe too much. But asking for full campaign for rest of the civs maybe even exclude Vikings+Japanese and rest of the Aoe1 campaign is not too much. AoE1 campaigns are already there. You need to make similar maps and triggers which is not that time consuming. Then a 5 scenario campaigns for Turks, Chinese, Mayans, Magyars (Koreans is difficult imho) will be 20 missions in total. So barely larger than V&V. Oh wait, V&V is just 5 new missions. My bad. We are not getting that many campaigns.
Emperors of the East
Why no DLC have “Emperor” on its name when the game is called “Age of EMPIRES”.
Official FB page posted an AoE2 meme yesterday. That’s an AoE2 post after a long while. Every post was about AoMR and AoEM for the past 2 months.
[Link is getting censored]
Could this be a hint?
What is there on FB? Can you copy here?
This I’ve already seen, but I absolutely don’t understand what’s going on here. What kind of nonsense is this? Is this some kind of internal meme puzzle?
That minimap is just the one used for the ranked MP benchmark
IDK if it means anything, but based on the red silk off to the left of the ui, indicates the player civ is from the middle eastern architecture set.
It’s just a reposted meme. I saw it on another platform a few days ago.
The rectangle box depicts the current part of the map the player is viewing. The player is pink that’s why there is alarm square box on his two fronts. The map is most probably ‘Continental’ of size Normal (6 players) probably. It seems like a 4v4 team match with Red-Yellow-Pink-Orange on one team and Black-Teal-Green-Blue on another (as their ships and units are moving together without fighting)
It seems that introducing a campaign will bring about 3-4 achievements. If it’s a campaign for a new civ, then it will bring about 4-6 achievements including something like civ victory and trainning 10 UUs.
44 achievements, twice as many as the Indian DLC. If it is a traditional DLC, it may even have as many as 8 campaigns, including 1-2 for existing civs and 6-7 for new civs. This would definitely be a bigger expansion than AoC and AoFE.
I don’t think any region other than Africa and East Asia has the potential to offer such a large amount of content, unless it’s a patchwork of many regions, or not a traditional DLC (for example, introducing the old AoE1 campaigns in RoR or introducing a civilization customization tool, etc.), or doesn’t actually have as many as 44 achievements.
Where did you get this number?
From here.
Just a guess.
I think it is just 1 achievement. My guess is this is a Aoe1 DLC, 1 new civ and 1 old AoE1 campaign bringing to ROR. The achievement is related to the campaign.
I think they will port older campaigns to RoR, so some achievements will be used by those campaigns and rest by content in the new DLC.
