If you could include new mechanics, features or functions in AOE-3, what would you implement?

This game is flexible to change and to implement new things. I could say that it is one of the best strategy games in that regard. What would you propose? Conditions: It must be general, not exclusive to one civilization, or at least apply to many. They could be radical things, but not too much.
