I doubt that such a desired civilization will come in a small DLC. This civilization would be accompanied by yet another civilization and new maps and natives. That is, an expansion. (It’s only what I think)

Yeah it’s not a bad card but with brits I almost always do a virginia manor boom so it’s hard to fit the card in because you want to send 3v and virginia company. Only time I don’t really go virginia is on non-tp maps so in that case the new cards useless too.

I bet that, just like last year, we will get two smaller DLC and one larger. Two smaller DLCs would add South American post-colonial civs - Brazilians and Gran Colombians (owners of both civ DLCs would get access to the bonus Historical Battle in which we would play Argentines). It’s nice if Gran Colombians, like Mexicans, have access to turn into natives - Musica for the Gran Colombians.
A DLC with two civs would be more unknown. I think it could be a Near East DLC adding Persians and Arabs (based on the Omani Empire and Mamluk Sultanate). I doubt that there will be any European DLC this year.
As for the Moroccan civs, I would prefer it to be added for free for African Royals DLC owners because they seem to be the missing piece.

Yeah, i don’t know if thats what youre refering to but yeomen don’t grant the +0.25 bonus vs HI neither anything else grant it even with all upgrades but i don’t know if it happens to anyone else.
I’m hoping for Italy, Poland and the Danish kingdom, but since they talk a civ and not about civs, it will probably be in the direction of the other DLC and will be something like Mexico.
So basically, I won’t get my hopes up…

If there are Persian/Middle Eastern civs in the game, what “culture” should they follow? Should they work like the Asian civs already in the game? Like the European civs? Or maybe even like the African civs? Or should they have their own gameplay style?
Edit: Maybe it could even be something like the USA and Mexico but with countries instead of states.

Persia would surely need new mechanics (islamic/middle eastern ones). That would also open the door for a Ottoman rework

They don’t exactly want to touch base game civs, so I don’t know if they’d rework Ottomans.
They just released a rework and new unit for the british.

They ruled much of the Middle East but they themselves were west Asian/Eurasian, not Middle Eastern as they were not ethnically from North Africa, the Gulf, or the Levant region. They also ruled a large chunk of Europe.
