Well my opinion is that Asian civilizations already have too many things and are quite unique, there are many civs that urgently need news.
Which ones and what would you like to see the developers add?
- Fourth resource
- More interesting Age up
But we already have four resources, Food, Gold, Wood and Experience, assuming that experience doesnât count for you, which one would you add?
Personal opinion, I think the best system is that of post-colonial civilizations, they give maximum versatility and at the same time allow a better representation of the entire civilization.
PS: I doubt that the developers do it, but I would love to see Germany, Italy and Spain with that system.
This that @MatM1996 uploaded is a good example
African civs have Influence. Asian civs have export.
European civs could have a Splendor. that could be spent on brand new stuff available in the Capitol.
Italians and Germans mostly they need State Age up mechanic.
Ok, that answers which ones, but youâre not telling me what youâd like to see added, I donât read minds.
More than splendor perhaps research points, something that allows for unique technologies, perhaps from a university? (Opinion)
I think it would be better to give it to all civilizations, but obviously this is just my opinion.
PS: yes, that includes Asian, Native and African civilizations, I think what should define civilizations are their unique units, buildings and mechanics. (Opinion)
In the case of the Spanish that i know your history, arquebusiers but there is already another thread for this

I like the idea of adding arquebusiers, I think it could be added as a replacement for the crossbowman, similar to the German and English cards. (Opinion)
PS: I still want my Inquisitor Rush. XD
Iâd like to see the european civs given a new politician in each age, maybe replace 1 of the less used or just rework 1 of them so they get a more civ specific politician and something that adds a bit more variety. Changing the whole politician system for euro civs would be too much though I think.
My dad is bigger than your dad lol stop being pathetic, elo isnât an indicator of game knowledge by itself but also an indicator of game time, apm etc. I have in fact broke 1800 elo many times though Iâm currently 1700 something. If I played italy and only italy Iâd be like 1950 instead I play some of the lowest win rate civs because I enjoy them and that is what the games about not a silly number.
Anyway if you have anything constructive to add that would be a lot more intelligent, anyone that mains inca knows they had no way to deal with late game heavy cannon spam, huaracas were a unit that lost cost effectively vs infantry and got countered and out ranged by the very artillery units they should counter. Just try taking out 3 bombards with huaracas when theyâre protected with 30 jans.
Something tells me that the revolution in Brazil is going to end the same as Gran Colombia, like a revolution equivalent to a fifth age.
I propose to give him a method to speed up the production of revolutionaries, give him a boost in fishing, allow him to upgrade his dragons to imperial and maybe some cards to improve his economy in the long run. (Opinion)
Brazilâs revolution needs a full rework honestly. Right now, itâs just a mega all-in with a huge meatshield, and if that fails, youâre stuck with a mechanic that bloats your population with useless VdPs when you need units that actually can fight. Even Finland is more playable.
At some point, theyâll get to it. Brazilâs naturally a huge market and there is intense interest from our BR friends to see their country represented well. Iâll wait for them to deliver something high quality that Ports, etc can be really excited about playing.
Gran Colombia is the new Revolution for Portuguese, sole reason being the update to the Independent Guard and Imperial upgrade. Brazil strikes me as the type of revolt that supposed to bring native to the army, yet they only got inf tupi. Perhaps they should add native alliance like Tupi, Carib, Jesuit and give their tech too.
Also, I donât think it was necessary to nerf Italy to the ground, its getting more unplayable every patch.
its like with china, india and swede , as long as people are still winning with them the nerfs will continue. even if its basically just revnak that is abusing italy to no end
For everyone asking about complaints on euro changes for flavour. The issue is that these civs are powerfull enough with 2 factories, easy acces to superior artillery, arsenal and complete roster of units.
About skins, they are nice, but I would like to see their portrait changed a bit at least idk.
PD: not a fan of trainable granadiers at barracks, and why faster genadarmes?? Are we going to see instant gends again?
The only thing missing from revolutionary napelonic era france is Legendary native, otherwise its already perfect imperial substitute, missing only capitol and dock upgrade
I donât know if this is a popular opinion, but I actually donât think we need every European civ to have as many unique units as the expansion pack or DLC civs. Perhaps for those to whom historical accuracy is very important this matters, but to me the European civs are quite fine just as they are. I feel like their designs were already well enough differentiated to be interesting even in their vanilla forms.
