925-1102. After that it became part of Hungary as a personal union. It is not seen as a sovereign state after that.
Croatia can be perfectly represented in a kingdom of Hungary civ, of which you get croatian units and involves the personal union.

925 1102 is the year you mean, Serbia has not been under Hungarian rule all this time, 20 years refers only to the status of an empire. medieval Serbia in terms of architecture, army, battles, is far above Croatia, where hardly anything important happened of a local character. Anyone who knows any history knows that Serbia deserves to be in the game more than Croatia, which did not last 200 years in the Middle Ages, anyone can google it so that the mentioned year does not make sense, everyone knows how to use the Internet. I will conclude that this will certainly not happen and that no smaller state or state that has had a local character will enter AOE4 especially when we have asymmetry so the discussion is meaningless

i just said it deserves to be in the game rather than croatia, then i added that there is no possibility of any ending up in AOE 4 and that the debate is pointless. The point of this was u telling how the Serbian Empire lasted 20 years, which only refers to the status of the empire, and you are trying to push Croatia which did not last even 200 years and which if there was a list of all European countries would surely be at the bottom of priorities

I’m uder the assumption because of Holy Roaman Empire that the nations within these empires will not have their own faction.

- The vassal relationship with Byzantium is somewhat different from the status of Croatia after 1102

Kingdom of Croatia was union but still separate (exactly the argument with SpainxPortugal right above us)! They did Battle with a bunch.
I don’t deny Serbia’s higher importance but if it is under Byzantines for most of it’s lifespan then it can’t be separate otherwise the devs should have just said Germans representing only Kingdom of Germany.
