The only “proof” we have that it happened BECAUSE of that last game is his own world. What IF he got a ban from the devs while he was already playing that game? If banning is human work, obviously they dont stare at the screen 24/7 to check who to give a penalization. They most likely check between XX:XX and YY:YY everyday but weekends, which might have lead to this kind of conclusion by a mere coincidence.

i think its exessive. i like poploord content when he does ridicolous things in game.
he doesnt cheat. jsut play the game his way to have fun. maybe writting “gg ez” is kinda toxic but its still quite mild.
i find getting raided by cav archers quite toxic. so what, i dont report players for doing it. why would anyone report poplord for tc dropping or building cannon galleons on oasis. its part of the game. deal with it

Training a Cannon Galleon fleet to not lose the game is griefing; you cant win anymore, you just want to annoy your opponent and make them resign a game you lost. TC dropping is not an issue at all.
To sum up: “meme” strategies are not the reason for that temporary ban; it’s his unsporting behavior.

Hmm… I don’t really know the player(s) either but, I am kinda neutral on this…
If it was his ‘overall behavior’ the reasoning behind the ban, I can understand that…
If it’s the early aggression/TC dropping/strategies, I call that into question for a ban… (As long as they are legit, no hacking, cheating, etc… Even though that is unlikely because of the anti-tamper in the game.)
From the video I saw above, that was not worth the ban itself. (He was playing normally this game.) Although, most likely, I assume it’s from his ‘overall behavior’. That is the only true reason I would accept it.
I am one of those people that hates toxic players. (I can understand for general frustration. Everyone can have a bad day… However, insulting, flaming, etc. a person is just unacceptable to me.)
Overall, I hope this ban was for ‘behavior’. If not, I would be annoyed too. (But, I am going to assume the Devs/Moderators are correct in this. For now…)
I think this can’t be or shouldn’t be written in the rules because nobody can judge and read what people are thinking. Even some psychologists are hard to tell the difference of offensive GG and respectful GG. At the very beginning of the competitive gaming history, the respectful way is only loser can type GG first, but people already don’t care about it nowadays.
Saying 20, 27, 105 to opponents are obviously rude behaviors, and they are provided by the game. It is fishing if using these taunts are against rules.
IMO, trash talkers and rude players should be punished, but suspension is not the way to punish them, at least these behaviors are not as bad as cheating and grieving. Let them play with the players with similar behaviors is the best way to educate them.

I have better things to do than keep up with this guy, but from what I’ve heard, he generally plays significantly below his skill level in order to terrorize players who are ill-equipped to respond to his “strategies.” To the point where it’s borderline smurfing. Which among the other things he apparently does is certainly banworthy.
The point of rules and bans is to disincentivize toxic or extremely unsportsmanlike behaviors. If anything the rules may be too generous if this guy is just now getting a longer ban. But beyond the enforcement of rules for the sake of the players, who cares. The forum is down bad if the status some troll called “Poop Lord” is the continued focus of our attention.
Let’s not be so quick to dismiss third graders. They at least had to pass first and second grades, which sadly is a higher bar to clear than getting onto the forum, as some people have been showcasing lately.

Problem is that he was banned after a game without offensive talks, only with an unusual team strategy, with a player that tells the teammates to report him after one of them surrenders too early.
At least moderators and dev could give him a motivation for the ban.

The green player landed the last straw on Poop Lord’s report count.
4 Sicilian picks are very suspicious, no normal player would do that. The potentially troll behaviors might drew attention of moderators if he did it constantly and got reported over and over.
I am sick of report calling , really, but it depends.
This post is just drawing our attentions for fun, I am sure Poop Lord got other accounts because he had gotten suspended 5 times at least,so I don’t believe that he would stop playing after the suspensions.
What are the official rule to ban someone ? (cheating, many account (to have low elo on some) and ?)

If the moderators could provide the motivations, we could have an answer.
It’s clear that a weekly ban can’t be caused by only 1 match, but if the devs would make him an example, they should provide the motivations so that other players could avoid similar behaviours.
Or should I fear using unusuale or meme strategies because I don’t know if they are tolerated?

Moderators don’t need to answer such an stupid question made up by a toxic guy who is now trying to play the victim/dumb, something he does everytime someone gets angry with him in-game.

Lol glad to see it. I have banned pooplord on YT and twitch long time ago. His 1v1 elo is around 1700 to 1800. But he used meme strats in team, playing at 1200-1300 elo. If he play normally he should be much higher. This is a different way of smurfing. By using a non optimal strat to play at a lower elo. And many of his strats are just annoying, like walling resources, TC dropping, spanish and turk cannon galleon in a pond…it is just time wasting. He should be banned forever, not just 7 days.
