What if Gujaras don’t have BE in the first place?

So far we have 3 screenshots of tech tree. One is a dock which is Dravidians, two from stable. One of the stable is from Gujaras as we can see the Camel Scout. Isn’t it logical the last screenshot is from Bengalis?

I think Bengalis would have access to Battle Elephants
Where is the dock tech tree?

Hindustanis has dot points where none of the others do?
Why aren’t elephant archers shown as a unique unit in Hindustanis list? But a Random spearman is?

Bengalis team bonus doesn’t make sense, 10% food ‘in addition to gold’. It makes more sense to say 10% more food and gold. Or ‘you gain 10% of gold earnt in food’. All very strange mistakes, even the beta of the DLC couldn’t have been this rough.

I also believe so. But maybe not elite.

If you quote the post, it gives a link called ![Unique Ship| with a hyperlink, so even if you didn’t know this was the dock tree, you’d find out it’s obscuring a unique ship.

And I think that was intentional… if you just copy-paste a picture into the forums, I don’t think it leaves a clue like this.

3 new infantry UU, what are your thoughts?
The Chakram Thrower would be like the Gbeto
Not sure about the other two but it seems that they would have some kind of bonus, at least the pikeman unit against cavalry

If the urumi swordsman is like the AoE3 variant it can either deal pierce damage with 0 range, have splash damage or both. Or they got another idea.

All of them are supposed to have a gimmick/special ability like previous DE UUs. I wonder if the UU ship will also have a gimmick.

I was looking at the tech tree image and I came with two options


1 This civ will have access to Scout line (blue color, available), Bloodlines (green color, available) and UU Camel Scout (purple color, available)
If this is the case the Gurjaras will have access to both Scout line and Camel line with the new Camel Scout, what I see unlikely
2 The Camel line replace the Scout line with the new Camel Scout in Feudal and the new UU Shrivamsha Rider could be trained in Stables from Feudal
If this is the case the Gurjaras will have just Camel Scouts, no Scout line, and the new UU as a possible Knight line replacement
The Gurjaras will have a solid stable in Feudal, not sure how would evolved in Castle or in Imp

I wonder if they’re going to do a bounce mechanic for Chakram Throwers. Sure, that’s probably not what they actually did or is even realistic, but how are you going to differentiate from Throwing Axemen and Gbeto otherwise? Low-range pierce damage?

low attack and long range melee damage maybe? Yes, it would basically be a long range throwing axeman, but that’s enough differentiation imo.

throwing axemen + obuch?

They could do pass through damage, blast damage or benefit from ballistics as simple gimmicks.

ranged infantry units with blast damage kill themselves
ballistic is too low-key for FE Kappa
